Best place in the world! Looks like Mars 😱👏🤩 staff and concierge are super friendly! They felt like family and I already miss them. The room was spotless and that view was just PARADISE. The red rocks are super special ✨ ⛰
Do yourself a favor a stay here!!! Restaurants on site for breakfast, lunch and dinner are all 5/5!!! 🙏🏼
A Huge Disappointment. Beware!

We normally stay at a Hilton but chose this Hyatt due to its location. After all, it’s a Hyatt how bad could it be? Very bad, actually. When we FINALLY got checked in we were whisked away by one of several very aggressive women who kept giving us 10-% to 25% off coupons for tours, train rides, restaurants, etc. We kept declining. The woman kept at it, telling us that these sorts of discounts were a part of the benefits of Hyatt Vacation Club membership. She had an immediate opening for a campus tour, so follow her and she would have a bellhop take our luggage to our room. We declined so she said okay, I can book you for a tour in a hour just give her name and room number and she would come for us. We declined but she followed us practically to our room. We had noticed that other new guests were being recruited for campus tours before they had a chance to go to their rooms. We learned why. While the grounds of the complex were pretty, the guest rooms were disasters.
The rooms were 25 years old and 10 years out of date. The color schemes were garish, furniture was old and uncomfortable, table lamps and decor were chipped.
The kitchen light didn’t work so we called maintenance. The guy said that the problem was that there were no bulbs in the chandelier. After new ones put in, the light would not turn off and shone in our faces all night. An electrician came and realized that the switch was locked in place. So we had to take out the light bulbs when done in the kitchen. The reefer didn’t work. It turns out that the outlet was broken. It was huge, too big for its space so we were unable to use the dishwasher because the door could not be opened all the way. No hot water for the shower and jacuzzi tub. Tub jets were blocked off. No response from management about either of these issues. No maid service so we had to empty our own trash and make our own beds.
No dining table and barstools were wobbly. We ate our snacks standing up.
The entry to the gym was beautiful and modern with nice snacks and beverages. So of course it was shown on the tour for potential club members. But half of gym equipment didn’t work. The showers were old and some of the shower curtains were torn. The hot tub was in the back away from common view. It was small and filthy.
We checked out 2 days early and feel like we should have gotten our money back.

Wife and I accepted an offer for discounted stay if we attended a timeshare presentation. We attended the presentation and were up front with the presenter Steve that we had no interest in buying a timeshare. After about 90 minutes into the session when he realized we were not going to purchase he abruptly ended the session which was fine with us but 12 weeks and three calls later we are still waiting on our 10k Hyatt points which according to the offer were to post within 4-6 weeks. Very disappointed as we have had super experiences with Hyatt stays in the USA and SE Asia. We are feeling that the Hyatt timeshare people are scumbags.
Fantastic location but be aware

Hotel has an amazing location with views in almost all directions. Walking distance to the downtown area making it easy to get around. Rooms were well equipped with a kitchen and laundry facility.
However with its great location we ended up in a lovely room with a view of nothing! Not even the parking lot. However between 2 and 4am there was a constant in and out of garbage trucks picking up and emptying dumpsters. I felt like we were staying in a cave with a truck stop outside.
I suspect if we had shown any interest in buying a time share our room might have been nicer. One caution I would highlight is that just behind the facility adjacent to the parking lot is a large cell/microwave tower. I never feel comfortable being so close to towers like that.
Check in was a bit of a hassle. We arrived at noon and were told after some checking with housekeeping that our room was almost ready and to check back in a few minutes. Fortunately we had some shopping to do and we were hungry so we headed out. We returned at 2pm only to get the same story - the room was in the final stages of being ready. So we walked over to the stores next door. At 2:45 we came back and once again it would only be a few more minutes. Finally at 4pm our room was ready. At that time we questioned why all the prior communication was that the room was almost ready. If they had just been honest at first and said it won’t be ready until 4pm we would have planned differently. Once again I wonder if our treatment would have been different if we expressed interest in buying a time share. I might recommend that to people considering this location. Express interest until you are in your room and then decline their pitch.
In times of Covid there isn’t any housekeeping so plan ahead for that. While the room has a kitchen there is no garbage pick up so that left over fish you cooked is going to smell.

This Hyatt is in a great location in Sedona, probably the best you can ask for in terms of being near most anything-right off of the traffic circle in the center. You can walk to many places within the area, which we liked. The pool is really nice and boasts probably the best view you can ask for. There are enough chairs and always had plenty of towels available. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the room. We had a one bedroom master. First of all, we were placed in the absolute furthest point in the resort, up a hill and then down another and then down a ton of stairs. Not great for walking into town or going to the pool, because we were exhausted by the time we got to where we were going. Also, we didn't have any kind of view (full disclosure, we didn't pay for any kind of view, but we were literally looking at the back of the local post office from our deck. And the mail trucks get there at like 5 am apparently, so all you can hear at 5am is the reversal alarms on the trucks backing in-really annoying. The resort wasn't anywhere near full, so I am not sure why they put us back there. The last day, they were doing a ton of work on the buildings, I believe changing out all of the HVAC units, so it was cumbersome and parking was an issue with all of the work trucks down there. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed-loved having a washer and dryer to use. The only complaint in the rooms is that the lighting is really weak. It was terrible in the bathroom and bedroom. Seems like a silly complaint, but our whole family was complaining about how weird the lighting was. You can tell that they are short staffed, like everywhere else in the country. They didn't have any maid service while we stayed, which isn't a big issue for us. But it is worth noting. When you don't have clean towels or cloths, at least you have a washer to use!
