Understaffed and Unloved

Reviewed 15 may, 2019

This hotel is situated in what you could call "real" China so dont expect to have an easy time if you dont speak Mandarin. The hotel is located at least an hour from anywhere touristy so if you're a tourist maybe look elsewhere. The staff are helpful but over worked. Sometimes one receptionist is dealing with 4 or 5 customers whilst also responsible for the coffee shop. The rooms are small and really dark. If not for work, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. Theres not much wrong with it, there are just better places to stay.

Hotel controls AC

Reviewed 9 april, 2018

We are currently staying in this hotel and we were told that we do not have the control of the AC unit and the hotel decide when to switch on and off. Today(Monday 9th April 2018) is a hot day but we were told the AC will only be switched on after the outside temperature goes over 26 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile were asked to open the window to get air. I’m not sure how you could charge such high rate and give this sort of cheap service? Jinjiang hotels, shame on you for this cheap service!

A Hotel for Chinese Tourists

Reviewed 20 october, 2016

This is a decent to good hotel--by Chinese standards. Things work. Staff are helpful and speak passable English. The breakfast is all right but would cater more to a Chinese crowd. My major grouse is that the service is not quite there. The room was not cleaned properly. There was dirt on the carpet of the room. The bed was not made properly. And when I put my toiletries on one face towel, I was given just one other. (Each room has two.) International chains will make sure you have two to use when I use one for toiletries. A minor grouse is that the hotel is an hour away from downtown malls. Overall, it's all right for a short stay if you have to stay in the Minhang area.

Only stayed here because of client

Reviewed 30 april, 2016

The beds are hard, the breakfast items limited for Westerners and the rooms are all smoking. I asked for a room away from the street, they said they were all full at 6:30 PM. Perhaps upgraded rooms are better. The lobby was okay, and the treadmill in the fitness room worked. But I would only stay here if I had to, and next time ask for a better room.
