The hotel is ok. Restaurant food wasn't great and rooms need updating. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Don't take a shower before 6 am - you might not get hot water... Location is very good within walking distance to the Bund River esplanade, subway stations and other attractions.
Desappointed - do not recommend
I expected more from this hotel, the mattress is extremely hard and uncomfortable, you feel the springs. the old and bad shower. the staff very kind and helpful. The view is beautiful to the city. the bathroom accoutrements are lacking. It's a beautiful hotel to look at, but it saves on small details that makes the customer have a bad impression. Not to mention that I booked a room that had no window, according to the website agoda was with 50% on promotion. I checked the price here, it's the same as I paid, so you have to take care of the discounts. are not always true.
Of all the hotels i was choosing from agoda ,the bund riverside hotel got my attention and i am glad i have pick the same because oved all i and my family were more than satisfied with their accomodation.i love the fact that it is so near the nanjing east train station and the bund.we also greatly appreciate all the help of mr. Jackson in the reception area.He was kind enough to assist us in going around Shanghai using the metro and how to do things around.
The hotel looked old in the lobby. The room’s design was a little old. However it was very clean and spacious. Everything I needed is in the room. The hotel is very conveniently located. Within less than 5 mins to the Line 10 and about 5 mins’ walk to Line 2 Nanjing East station. Getting to the stations was a breeze. Nanjing Pedestrian Street is only 5 mins’ walking distance from it. There are Malls around it too. Added to it, after crossing the road in front and walking pass the block, you will find a street full of local food. It was an amazing find as one of the best soup Bao was found along the street, along with other local delicacies at affordable prices. Hotel provides airport shuttle at RMB60. Another plus for me. Breakfast not included. With all the local delicacies, don’t think I need breakfast provided. Overall, a very convenient hotel in my opinion.
1 week in Shanghai
A good and cheap hotel with a fantastic view of the Shanghai skyline. Nothing to complain about for the price as it is a give and take thing. Beautiful room. Lobby was small and theres steps to climb at the front door but it was fine. 3 mins walk to my favorite xiao yang shen jian bao shop.
