Smelly room, peeling paint, nasty showerhead, stained sheets and the list goes on! TripAdvisor should be ashamed for advertising this place on the website. It is a poor reflection of your recommendation!

Had to find room on night all of Shreveport was booked. This was only hotel showing any rooms on Expedia. We were in at 10:30pm out next morning 9:30am. My take- room was clean had refridge, had 2 double beds. Soap, shampoo, plenty of wash cloths, hot water, very quiet. I was in an indoor room overlooking indoor pool area. Got great sleep. Beds comfortable bed covering alright. Had internet. Had some problem in am with accessing Uber or Lyft because of connectivity issues, though other internet sites worked. It had a seafood restaurant in hotel. Nothing to complain about. Close to airport. Other Restaurants visible from parking lot.

Not bad for a one night's stay. Located just off of interstate and close proximity to restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for travelers traveling thru. The only problem I had was that they need to have a luggage cart available up front in the lobby.

Mostly I stay in hotels because I need a place to sleep. At the Regency Inn on Monkhouse Drive, Shreveport, LA the beds were adequate. I slept well, perhaps because I was pretty tired or perhaps because the bed didn't sag as in some hotels or perhaps a combination of both. After driving six or seven hundred miles I like to grab a bite to eat, take a shower and get to sleep, usually in that order. Grabbing a bite to eat at the Twisted Root Burger Pub was a good experience. Taking a shower before going to sleep wasn't the best. The thing that stands out to me is that the soap provided by the hotel was like WAX! As I washed under my arms, the "soap" didn't rinse off and just stuck to the the hairs on my underarms! It didn't have any aroma, which was OK with me but the waxy build up under my arms was disconcerting! It took a while for me to finally get it off. I ended up using a bar of the soap from my personal toiletries bag. In the morning the coffee provide in the lobby area was typical restaurant coffee but for my wife, who doesn't drink coffee, there were no alternatives, no tea, no hot chocolate. Just weak, flavorless restaurant coffee.
