Great Hotel, Amazing Location

We stayed for one week from 11th to 18th October 2022, was a lovely, clean hotel with hard working staff. The entire area was spotless, large pool area with amazing sea views. We had a sea view room, which was spacious and clean, with large balcony. The breakfast was perfect, lots of choice, staff were attentive and polite. We only did B&B so I can't comment on the evening meal and would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a lovely hotel in Sissi. We walked into Sissi most nights - pleasant walk with bars and restaurants so we ate there most nights, found a great Irish bar (if that's your thing) with amazing friendly staff. We hired a car, the weather wasn't great for some of it, but we travelled to the south of the island, and found some amazing beaches with a different climate only an hour and 30 mins away- so there are options if weather is not great. I can't fault this hotel for us it was perfect, quiet, clean, comfortable beds, good shower, good location, a real find.
Amazing, will definitely return

A return trip to Sissi after a few years and so happy that we were booked into the Maritimo Beach Hotel. A wonderful family run Hotel. From being greeted by reception to our departure there was nothing we could fault. Whenever we met any of the family or staff always a friendly smile and chat. Angeliki, Antonia and Athena lovely. Our room was close to the small pool and overlooked the sea. Always kept clean by a couple of excellent ladies. The Reception relaxing area was spacious with very comfortable furniture. Well stocked bar and friendly staff. This leads out onto an outdoor seating area overlooking the larger of the two pools. Great snack bar. There is also a smaller pool which is quieter. All meals were excellent. The breakfast had so much choice, hot and cold options. Greek, English and all continental varieties. Breads, cereals, fruit, It was great to have the eggs and pancakes freshly cooked. You had the choice to eat outside or in. Again brilliant service. We also ate in the restaurant a few evenings. Buffet style but always lots of choice. Different theme nights as well. Drinks were ordered and quickly brought by the bar staff. On a few of the evenings there was entertainment. Fab Saxophone player. A pleasant way to spend the evening chilling in the bar area.
Lovely hotel run by lovely people

Lovely gem of a hotel right on the sea front in Sissi. We stayed in a superior room, which included balcony with sea front view, spacious room with couch and lovely walk in shower. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful at all times. Buffet food (we stayed half board), good choice trying to cater for all tastes and preferences, including gluten free. Plenty to eat! Hotel very clean and welcoming. Lovely hotel with lovely people. Sissi itself is only small within a very short walk from the hotel. Cluster of shops and restaurants along the pretty port. We spent many an hour just admiring the view over a glass or three of wine. Sissi itself is quite limited with things to do but there are plenty of places offering excursions to various places, plus there's is a daily bus just up from the hotel which takes you to the various towns around. Bus fares are very cheap but be mindful to say Sissi Village and not just Sissi, else you'll be dropped off on the outskirts of the town, a good walk away. Unfortunately theres only one bus a day, 9.15am depart with anywhere between.3pm and 4pm pick up, depending on what town you've stopped off at. That said, we had a number of great days out and it was fine. Malia beach front was just lovely but wasn't a fan of the road leading down. Agios Nicholias was great, did two trips there, lunch around the lake in the centre of the town is a must. There are a few other places too worth a visit, as well as boat trips. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and chilled, this is the place, but be prepared to travel to explore the island more if you're not one for just sitting by the pool all day. All in all we had a very relaxing two week break.

Visited from 01/10/22 until 08/10/22. To say the staff were friendly and helpful is an understatement, nothing was too much. On arrival at 2am we were offered and had a dinner which was much needed after 14 hours of traveling with no food available on flight. Such a clean hotel, cleaners really do a great job. Such a large variety of food at both breakfast and dinner, even the fussiest of people would be able to find something, and traditional Greek food was an option every night. All round a great place to stay and would definitely visit again. Tip. If you want a beautiful sandy quiet beach, Potamus beach which was 15 euros in a cab, if so worth a visit. There’s a small cantina there with hot and cold drinks and the tastiest Gyros. Also a taverna across the road. If you want to visit Sissi harbour and town centre, don’t get a taxi it’s a 10 minute walk.
Peaceful,friendly, beautiful hotel

Stayed first week in October at this fantastic hotel Spotlessly clean, happy helpful staff, beach front location. Room large and bright, clean towels every day, bedding changed , quality linen and towels, super comfortable mattress and pillow, can't fault room. Grounds well kept and two pools, hardly any children,so peaceful. Pool bar food is very good, and home made chips .Must mention the two ladies serving..ATHENA AND LORENA, and number 1 cook RANIA. What a team , always happy and welcoming, will miss them . The dining room and the pool bar is spotlessly clean,as is the entire building, which is designed in a modern light and airy style, comfortable seating area, and sofas. The food at breakfast is good and a good selection, the dinner menu is acceptable, and I have no complaint in this area. Would love to revisit Wonderful stay
