The pioneers for the Skara Stadshotell, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western were Hilde and Jean Roser who had their roots in Strasbourg’s food and wine district. The couple Roser moved after a fierce world war to Sweden and was employed at the Grand Hotel Saltsjobaden in Stockholm. Their dream was to drive their own company which took them to Skara, Sweden were they opened their hotel. As the children grew up, the movement was further driven by them.
