Fantastic hotel !
Recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic time. Short distance from Sorrento but far enough away from the hustle and bustle The view from the pool and terraces is absolutely breathtaking day and night and can not fault the service and friendliness of the staff The room was lovely and our bed was positioned in front of the balcony doors so we could enjoy the amazing view every morning Food is fantastic and the a la carte meals in the evening are beautiful and I’m a very fussy eater but I enjoyed every single meal ! We truly found a gem with this hotel and can’t recommend highly enough! Drinks are pricey but didn’t put me off having a good drink as and when I wanted Thanks to everyone at the hotel and I look forward to seeing you all again soon We have booked again just now hoping covid allows it otherwise it will be another time We will be back !!
This is without doubt my favourite hotel in the world. The views are literally unbelievable. It is the best food I have tasted in my entire life, I still pine over it. The shuttle bus into sorrento is invaluable due to the hilly walk on offer otherwise, and the bus driver was a legend. My only gripe was the drinks were so expensive therefore no atmosphere in the bar, which is easily solved with a trip into sorrento. All in all a fabulous hotel.
Stunning, loved it and would definitely go back
I visited my sister who was working as a travel rep in the President and we were very kindly invited to dine in the A la Carte restaurant, which was fantastically amazing! Beautiful stunning views of the sea and of the famous Mount Vesuvius. The service was second to none and the food was out of this world. Really loved it and would definitely recommend it. Will be returning soon.
‘Wow what a view’
We stayed here in July 2019. After doing my research we chose and booked this hotel for its magnificent panoramic views.....For isn’t that what visiting Sorrento is all about. ....Well They truly are amazing from this hotel. Sorrento had been on my bucket list for years and so I had very high expectations for this hotel and oh boy I wasn’t disappointed , on arrival we were shown to our room and Im not joking I could of cried when I walked in....not in a bad way ....I was so overwhelmed with the gorgeous room and the ‘WOW view’ looking down to Sorrento...it was so beautiful. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to have stayed in Sorrento and to have explored the Amalfi coast and indeed to have stayed in such an amazing hotel. I’d love to return one day but in meantime There’s many more places to visit but I will never forget this fabulous holiday. No negative comments from us . Only practical criticism - we had no where on our massive terrace to hang our wet swimwear etc ......but it did have a huge day bed and a shower! Yes it had a shower ...
Great location and great staff
This was an excellent hotel in a great area. The room was clean and serviced daily. In a lot of ways because of the things that can be done, this is as expected. The restaurant staff are excellent and you come to know them quite well within a few days as they get to know your habits and times you come down. We were so pleased by the restaurant staff that we felt we needed to buy them a small gift at the end of the holidays. There is a shuttle bus that goes to the town centre every 30 minutes and it is always worth taking this on a regular basis as you can grab a bite/ cocktail/ ice cream to eat. It was normally on time and we went on during the Easter period for 2 weeks. As this was the start of the season, not all amenities were available but it is slightly quieter during the Easter season for tourists. Personally from tourist perspective this is the best time as we still got some good weather but also experienced Italian culture at its best. If you have booked a package holiday ensure you take up the free tour guide who will show you key places to go in the centre but generally there is the old town and the new town. The old town for us personally is the place to look around. Would love to go again as we would have like to have gone to Capri. (We missed the bus) We did manage to take a day trip along the Amalfi coast which was amazing
