an amazing small hotel

Reviewed 18 october, 2022

we have been to Sorrento many times all ways staying in large hotels for a couple of weeks. We booked the jr suite as were staying for six weeks. our balcony was #so big about 18 ft x 10 ft and had a nice quality table and chairs you can see glimpses of the sea and a fantastic view of mount Vesuvius. our room was very large and airy , it had a VERY comfortable Bed, a large sofa bed a small desk and chair wardrobe , bed side tables with lamps. it was not just clean it was SPOTLESS, as was the en-suite and there was always hot water. our room was serviced 6 days a week the hotel is owned and run by geotanno (pronounced Guytanno) and his sister Rosianna is the house keeper both of them are nice and decent human beings, they are both very friendly and helpful,Its only 15 minuets from Tasso Plaza from Tasso Plaza turn right pass fauno and walk to the top of the road, turn right and after about 5 mins you will see a church and turn left directly before the church and it will take you to the lane where this amazing hotel is at the top of the lane. we cant wait to go and stay there again

Best hotel I’ve stayed in!

Reviewed 5 may, 2022

Stayed here for two nights alone on a visit to Italy. This place really exceeded my expectations. The room is large and pleasantly furnished, the garden around is full of trees, pots and plants and nature. The lady who owns the place was lovely, and made me feel extremely welcome. She gave me a map of Sorrento and gave me any and all information I needed. Breakfast was provided but I had to get the bus very early both mornings so I missed it, though, breakfast starts at 7:30am. Sorrento Experience really deserves this 5* rating! would not hesitate to stay here again!😊

Very well located!

Is located just walking distance from the main square of Sorrento.. Free parking! Just be aware that the street to arrive is quite narrow. The owner super friendly even offered himself to drive us out because the main street have been closed on our departure day because of works and the alternative one was very very narrow and the owner came with us and help us driving our car and getting us out! He even offered us to leave the car in his parking for the 2 night that we've been to Capri for free! Super helpful!

Spectacularly Beautiful - Jammed with Visitors

Reviewed 13 october, 2019

Beautiful places, and Sorrento is truly beautiful, attract lots of people to enjoy them. It’s in the nature of things. Sorrento is one of the loveliest towns I have ever seen. Perched on the edge of a high cliff that plunges down to the sea, it is remarkable whether enjoyed in town or from a boat. Its patron saint is said to have achieved his first miracle by saving a child from having been swallowed by a whale. So the town and the saint and the sea all come together in one story. Meanwhile today this is a classic Italian town - full of people, traffic, restaurants and shops. Full of life. You should visit. Watch out for hungry whales.

Lots of traffic very busy very noisy and found it very stressful. Not a good selection of restaurants therefore the quality of the food not that good. Would not recommend for a relaxing holiday. Hotel was average.
