ADA height bed resturant within walking distance
The height of the bed matters when you are a person in a wheelchair that has to transfer onto the bed. The bed was perfect & comfy. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a bathtub with a shower seat and handheld wand. Within walking distance is a Texas Roadhouse. On the negative side one of the hand towels had a red stain on it and we had no reliable internet at all.
My family and I booked this hotel for a one night stay on our way down to Florida. When we checked in we were told that we could not pay cash for the room, unless we left a deposit of cash as well (other hotels let us put our credit card on file for the security deposit and then pay cash for the room upon check out). We didn't make a fuss, but the front desk staff was not friendly or welcoming in any way. When we got to the room, it was filthy. The bathroom had actual dirt along the floors, and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It was just for one night so we stayed in the room anyway. The beds were very uncomfortable, and when we checked out in the morning we expressed our concerns with the front desk staff. The answer was "ok, thanks." I would not stay here again. There was really nothing positive about our stay, except that the breakfast was good.
Horrible don’t not waste your money
We had roaches in the room carpet was filthy had a used condom in the tub drain. Room keys wouldn’t stay programmed we payed for 3 nights cancelled after the first went to the holiday inn express much cleaner than this dump. Absolutely the worst place I’ve stayed at in a very long time.
Close to highways
Easy access to I77& I20. Texas Roadhouse within walking distance. Got an uber to Hootie concert and back. Clerk checking in was extremely helpful and pleasant. Room smelled like shampoo but with a hint of something else 😢. Floor was a little slimy in bathroom and something in tub 😩.
No no no, don’t stay here unless you’re looking for a cheap drug den. Was given keys to SOMEONE else’s room in the middle of the night thank GOD no one was laying up in the bed because we prolly would have gotten shot. Finally got the correct room, choice hotels website was really misleading...should have checked trip advisor before booking. The clerk was blaming the day shift guy for the screw up, apparently it had been happening “all day”. Smelled like weed throughout the facility and had really sketchy guests. The security cameras weren’t even plugged up around the hotel. I had to strip the fitted sheet bc it was stained and the pillows were strategically placed to cover the worst of the stains. I mean, who puts four pillows bunched up on one side of a king side bed. We slept on the top sheet instead. The pillow cases were stained too so I picked the best ones to use. The toilet was messed up, the mirrors were smudged, and toothpaste splatter was all over the surrounding sink walls. Sink counter was dirty and water damage on the ceiling. Half the lights were burned out and the smoke detector batteries decided to go bad at 9am. What a wake up call. The only positive thing was the jacuzzi, it looked clean so we were able to use it. Needless to say, my husband was pissed that I booked at this place. Gross. We were ready to get up out of there.
