Like many hotels you hear good and bad in this area. We had a good experience. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was what you come to expect these days from most major chains in this price range. We will use this hotel again.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. We almost always stay at Comfort Suites (or one of the sister hotels that are part of the Choice Hotel system), and this was so far below their standards. Our room was musty, dated, had peeling wallpaper, very damp carpeting (gross!), and a heavy smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby. This would be due to all of the front desk and housekeeping staff we encountered spent time out smoking near the front entrance. The breakfast looked ok, but the area wasn’t clean, so we just had coffee. We asked if they had any rooms kept pet-free for guests with allergies, and were told that they don’t because they can’t tell if someone sneaks a pet inside. What a weird reply. The rate was very reasonable, but this was definitely a case of “you get what you pay for!” If we hadn’t prepaid, we would have moved to a different hotel.
Clean and comfortable

It was a nice place to stay.Breakfast options could have been better but other than that. The location was great. Right by the express way and not far from South Haven shop and beach. I would definitely stay there again with my family.
Would not recommend

This hotel is nasty. Rooms dirty. It appears that they have children cleaning this hotel, no proper housekeeping staff. They are reusing the leftover rolls of toilet paper and do not have new unused rolls available when asked by the housekeeper. You can tell the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Hair in the bed. It smells like mold through the hotel. Pool is not kept up, clearly has not been cleaned/vacuumed lately. Would not recommend. Please stay at one of the other hotels on Phoenix street please don’t waste your money on this hotel. Oh the breakfast is terrible.
Not the best, but not the worst.

We chose this hotel due to the proximity to a wedding venue that was only about 13 minutes away in Pullman. Yes, the prices were higher due to the 4th of july weekend, but the location couldnt be beat and they allowed dogs. Hotel could use some updating for sure in the rooms. Our closet's door was horrible to open and screeches with the metal on metal. The toilet was not completely secure and it would move when you got up. The inside of the fridge could use a good cleaning. Our window had a huge crack in it. We were lucky as our friends who stayed across the hall...their room had a musty smell and the wall in the bathroom looked like mold spots or something all over it. The room they were offered to replace that room had an even worse musty smell, so they stuck with the original room. Breakfast ...meh. Nothing to write home about but I'd recommend a 2nd waffle maker as the line for the one took a while. And the coffee was horrible. The front desk staff were nice but none of them were overly friendly or seemed happy to be there. Also, its hard to tell who actually works there because there was no consistent uniform. Also, the side doors seemed to never be locked. I walked our dog outside at 11pm and was surprised I didnt need my key card to get back in. Lack of security for sure. Also, for being a dog friendly hotel... there were NO outside trash cans. I picked up our dog's poop and didnt know where to dump it. I was told to go use the dumpster on the opposite side of the hotel. The location is perfect though and the brewery next door is delicious. The bed was comfy enough so it was perfect for what we needed. Also, believe other reviews about the charges. Our friends who stayed with us in their own room were double charged and its been a hassle for them to get that fixed.
