Lovely B & B

Reviewed 18 november, 2022

Comfortable bed, lovely clean room, all the essentials and beyond, decorated nicely, helpful and kind host. Would definitely recommend to others. Unfortunately I could not stay for breakfast but the host very kindly made sure I didn’t go on a empty stomach. Extremely happy with my stay.

Very welcoming

Reviewed 24 october, 2022

The White Cottage B&B was a lovely surprise, it was very clean, the grounds/gardens are beautiful and Ellen is a wonderful hostess. The rooms were comfortable and filled full of thoughtful touches such as a nightlight, a small torch and a fan/heater that make you feel looked after. Breakfast was delicious and full of local produce and fruit from the gardens. Ellen was also very understanding about our having to re-schedule our visit due to a train strike.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Gem of a place. Excellent for visiting Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.

White cottage B&B was absolutely lovely. It was only 5 minutes drive away from the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage centre which made it perfect for my husband and I to visit and see the Lancaster Just Jane. It is a beautiful cottage with lovely gardens and very peaceful. The breakfast was excellent and our room and en-suite bathroom had everything that we could need. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Ellen had thought of everything. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area and thoroughly recommend it.

Great Stay & Lovely Spacious Room

Reviewed 19 august, 2022

Stayed for one night as booked to complete the taxi run on Lancaster Just Jane at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Museum. Great location for the museum and did not take long to get there the next morning. A lovely B&B in a very peaceful spot surrounded by nicely maintained gardens. Plenty of parking outside the property and was easy to find. Room was at the very top of the house and was large and spacious and in excellent decorative order. Charming host who was friendly and very accommodating. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would certainly stay here again and highly recommend.

Quiet country break

Reviewed 7 august, 2022

Arrived to a warm welcome...even on a hot summers day. We settled in to our room...the garden room with French doors opening onto the garden and a seating area for us to relax in. Large queen bed, dressing table, en-suite bathroom with shower, but no bath. Although close to the main road, the property is set in 2 acres, so it was quiet during the night and very relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast was in the dining room and consisted of a full English with cereals, yoghurt and fruit juices. All washed down with tea or coffee. Lovely break all round and definitely worth considering as your base for exploring the area.
