Convenient, nice remodel
Opinión escrita el 29 de Julio de 2021
I stayed at this hotel years ago when it was a Red Lion. The new interior design is very modern. Very large lobby area, lots of seating. Some Pros and Cons, but I would definitely stay there again:
Pros: convenient to downtown/park, very nice linens, comfortable bed (on the soft side), friendly/helpful front desk staff, quick check in, great wait/bar staff in restaurant. Quiet even though we had a lobby view room. Restaurant open late on Friday/Saturday. Good, various menu selections. Starbuck Kiosk in lobby. Free bottled water in room. LOTS of USB charging outlets in the lobby.
Cons: hidden parking fee - you really have to dig on the web site to find it. I only knew about it pre-check in because I read a review. $14/night. $18 breakfast included with our room did not offer a choice off the menu - you had too get the bacon/egg/hashbrown plate. It was OK but I would not get a pre-paid breakfast again. The pool is nice, but there were no clean pool towels. We called front desk, but nothing was ever brought out. This cut my pool stay short.
The hotel was obviously understaffed - we saw this in the restaurant (no lunch service) and housekeeping. My daughter requested extra towels in the evening and was told nothing could be delivered until 7 am when housekeeping arrived. I think this was the issue with the pool towels as well. I don't hold this against the property, though. Most businesses are desperate for help right now.
Also: due to COVID, there is no mid-stay housekeeping. So no refill on Keurig coffee pods or waters. I imagine they are available at the front desk, or if you requested. (we were there 2 nights).
Awesome Informative People at Front Desk

We stayed here one night on our way to GNP. The lady at the front desk was super nice and very informative about the area. What I loved about the hotel is that the Riverfront Park is right behind it. We just walked out the side door, passed the pool and over a bridge and we were in a super cool park. We could also see the Pavilion Lights from our room window.
We booked a room with two beds. It was a little small but that is expected with an older hotel. It was pretty clean and the beds were comfy or we were just super tired after a long drive. The a/c could have been a little cooler but it was enough to cool us down.
They only had 3 sets of bath towels in our bedroom too and never delivered more after we requested another set. My husband finally just used a hand towel to take a shower.
Two things that could make the hotel better is free parking and a free continental breakfast.

My family of four stayed one night here. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very helpful during our stay. This property has an amazing pool, but it was very busy so my family did not stay very long (the kids do not enjoy crowded pool).
Would stay again

This is a great hotel, perfect location to park, downtown and playgrounds. Pool was very nice and the pool rooms were great. We had a regular room too and both had water, Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator. I cannot remember if a microwave was included. The shampoo and soap were really nice too. There is plenty of free parking. The restaurant and lounge area was very nice but pricey. May be of benefit to buy the breakfast package as it was extremely expensive. Avocado toast was around $11 and 2 eggs/sausage and toast was $18.
Has great potential, but lacks a lot.

We stayed here two times within a week. Rooms are nice, people are better, BUT: there are electrical outlets in strange places, not in useful places; there are two starbucks cups in the room, no cups with which to brush ones teeth; the light in the bathroom comes on and off on a relatively regular basis(?); the icemaker on our floor is apparently broken, but no one told us about it; there is no place in the shower to "put" anything, no shelves, no nothing. Parking is a long ways from the doors. We had one breakfast, which was well above the normal price. We aate elsewhere on our second visit.
The whole place is quite attractive, but it seems to have been designed by an interior designer, not a hotel designer. They need to get a couple of potential clients in to do a review.
The good news is that the rates were reasonable, and the views of the Spokane River are spectacular. Why did we come back after our first visit? We had reservations that were not refundable...
