I want my money back I am never staying here again

I called the Quality Inn Spokane airport earlier the day of my check in and put in a request for third floor the lady I spoke with said she would put in a note for me about this upon my check in. I even let them know ahead of time I'd be checking in late around 11pm/12am. I called 12 hours prior. Originally, I put in a request for top floor on my online reservation via Choice Hotels website, however top floor was unavailable. I inquired about the note for getting a room on the third floor. A different lady didn't see any notes saved in their system about the third floor request. (oddly enough she sounded like the lady I spoke with on the phone) but I told her my account of how I called earlier and explained that. She tells me about how the notes from day shift may not get saved to night shift. Disappointed, I'm thinking if It's in the system regardless, it's autosaved in the system regardless of shift/crew/staff. Paid $198+taxes and fees. It was a show night but even that for a Quality Inn seems steep. Not happy with the price and I'm not happy with the staffs' attitude towards following through with a simple request. I was lead to believe when I spoke with the first gal over the phone she sounded confident that she was on top of it and not to worry. Night crew didn't even want to handle my request note it felt like and I felt like just a number in terms of being a customer. I'm checking in late, with a line of people, more than likely coming from the show too. A main reason why I wanted top floor in the first place. But I'm placed on second floor. On top of all that, the guests on the floor above me were NOISEY! Stomping around until 4 am. I didn't get "quality" sleep either. I seriously want a refund. This was not a good hotel experience by any means. Truly disappointed and discontent overall.
Midweek getaway to enjoy Spokane

We went away for a mid week getaway to Spokane. First they only have one computer that was not working, so we had to come back later to check in. The room smelled of smoke and was not very clean. It was on the 3rd floor they did move us up to the 5th floor which was quieter but the bath tub drain was plugged with hair which I fixed. The a/c filter was black with dirt . I the hall way floors and elevator floors looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks. They could not have any COVID 19 cleaning protocols in place or they are not using them. The Choice group use to have great service and great rooms at fair prices not any more. This property was filthy
In desperate need of total renovation!

Yes, this hotel is in a great location near the Spokane Airport but is not a good choice even for one night stay. The staff team were very friendly and helpful but the building is in extremely poor shape. the Building itself was probably built back in the 60's or 70's and looks like it has not been touched since. Tape on tile hallway floors to alert you for trip hazards, a padlock on the door to the spa area, lights out in the hallways, rooms smell, paint chipping, brick construction chipping, outside trash containers overflowing. Until money is put into this place to upgrade and do a total gut job there are too many other options out there.

Warning, find someplace else! This hotel should be demolished. I don't know where to start. Room not ready upon arrival, ok give me another room. No rooms clean. They send someone up to check what rooms are clean, and give us a key. After my husband observed various odd activities and filth in the parking lot, he said lets go check out the room first. I have attached a copy of a photo of the "patio" and entrance door that we had to pass to get to a ground floor elevator (didn't what to have to go up a flight of stairs to get to one.) The minute I saw the patio area (former pool), the condition of the entrance area, and the carpeting once we got inside, I thought this isn't going to be good. We approached the door, which wasn't even closed all the way. Immediately I could see that the beds had not been made. I turned to look to my right into the bathroom, and I won't tell you what was in the toilet + blood. We immediately returned to the front office and said give us our money back. (Just thought, normally hotels don't run your room charge until the night of your last stay. Why had they already run the 3 nights we were to be there?) Corporate needs to get their name off that building.

I have traveled on the road for work for the past 11 years, and stayed in many quality inns. This by far is the nastiest, not only of quality inns but of any chain! Rotten food left in mini fridge, what looks to be blood on shower curtain, pubes all over toilet seat, and bugs/flies galore in room!
One word for this room: GROSS!
