Not what I expected...

Reviewed 18 may, 2022

First off, this room is not in Sugarland!!! It is in the Southwest corner of Houston by the Beltway 8 with all types of homeless people walking back and forth from the hotel areas and the Beltway 8 Bridge where they stay. I had my wife and two young kids on this trip and I was not comfortable with the environment I put my family in. I felt like I needed my gun for protection just to walk into the hotel from the parking lot. I think they should turn the hotel into a homeless shelter!!!

HOTEL ALLOWS THEFT!

Reviewed 12 january, 2022

❌First and last time I stay in these hotels, we came down for a funeral and decide to stay in this hotel after our last day of staying here our family dropped us off and we left our car at the hotel because why couldn’t we? We get to the hotel and see we have a slashed tire then we look around the car and see that the under of the car many parts were stolen We researched everything and called dealerships the total for this would be $10,000 which is insane we just lost a loved one and this is the last thing we want to deal with please DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL it is the worst hotel ever, we called the manager and told him if he could give us a solution he yelled and said it’s public parking he then hung up on us, the doors aren’t even locked ANYONE can come inside this hotel please save yourself this headache and find something else LISTEN TO REVIEWS THIS HOTEL HAS 1 STAR for a reason❌ Yes the sign is there but the doors are NEVER locked

Just don't go

Reviewed 23 july, 2021

Floor was sticky and stained. Pool was littered with cigarette buts and murky. Building doors to the pool would not close and the aircondition condensation flowed like a mini water fall onto you as you went out these doors. Highway noise is super loud. Room never coooled. Best part, they has two seperate room windows toatoly oped to the outside with the room's furnature in sorts of dissaray.

Look elsewhere some type of scam going on at this hotel

Reviewed 13 july, 2021

So I check in to this hotel. They first try to charge me for a room upgrade even though I’m a choice member. Then when they couldn’t charge me for that they said oh there’s a 50 dollar security deposit you’ll get it back 4 days after you check out. Sounds like this will place is running a scam.

Noisy. Go Down the Road

Reviewed 24 april, 2021

Well, we’re back on the road after being locked down. This is the third review of four hotel stays – Clarksville, TN, Texarkana, TX, Houston, TX and Mobile, AL. Some hotels have been using the reopening time to do some refurbishments and the location currently suffers for that reason. Don’t believe the web sites saying they are serving breakfast. There is a big disparity on what they are doing. A nice appearing hotel from the street and the lobby. This is probably the noisiest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The freeway and connecting roadways is within 100-150 feet of the hotel. Rooms at the front of the hotel facing the freeway are like sleeping next to an airport runway with planes coming and going ALL night. Avoid rooms at the front of the hotel. Don’t know how much better it might be on the back. Take some earplugs. I’m deaf in one ear and using a CPAP and I still had good bit of noise. Refurbishment is underway. Our first room we were assigned was on the third floor. We were met with very heavy paint smell upon getting off the elevator. Went to the room at the end of the hall. Key wouldn’t work and smell was so great we went back to the desk for a new room. We’re given 101 on the first floor. Room 101 has the Choice hotel’s “deal” on carpet and curtains. Lamps were missing bulbs and once our shoes were off we found damp carpet outside the bathroom door. Our shower head and drain were on the opposite wall. The next morning, after the room above showered, the floor was again damp. Water has to be coming down the inside of the wall. No evidence of water on the wall surface. Now the real danger here is for electrocution of the guest. The wall the water is coming down is about 15” wide and right in the middle of that wall is the electrical switch controlling the overhead light. So the guest gets zapped turning on the switch or turning on the switch while standing on the wet carpet. Can you say lawsuit? Moral of the story ----- AVOID ROOM 101!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Breakfast wasn’t even attempted unless you call a cup of coffee breakfast. In summary, good looking hotel, but unbearably noisy. Unless you have a strong business reason to stay here, I wouldn’t and won’t.
