"In these uncertain times..." -- A really top address !!!
We spent five weeks hunkering down here through the most intense weeks of Covid-19. The skeleton staff treated us magnificently, the GM even preparing our daily coffee and bagel breakfast. Managers were cleaning rooms and making beds. A comfortable poolside area was open and fine restaurants were offering curbside service. Staff was wonderful and many brave people were working very hard on many levels to keep us safe and comfortable. Our deepest thanks is extended to Courtyard Marriott in Tallahassee, and especially to their wonderful GM and staff. Many thanks and God bless
please think again about staying here. the hotel is old and needs a lot of work. mostly bug control. when you get to the hotel at check out time and they tell you to try again in a few hours, even though you have a reservation, run. we didn't. and we found poor service. but worse. bugs. huge ones.
Excellent lodging and location
A very good place to stay and work or travel by. The rooms are very comfortable and the lobby had a restaurant and bar. Nearby is the State Capital and a lot of very good restaurants. Getting to and from the University is very easy. To come in from I-10 is very quick. Highly recommend staying here.
Pretty face, thin walls
I have been staying next door to the Courtyard when visiting Tallahassee, but was booked here through Delta. The lobby area is updated and there is the feature of the Bistro rather than a standard buffet. Receptionist were friendly and check in was fine. The hotel is clean. Once in the room it was not as nice, and I ended up asking for an early checkout. The walls are thin and the shower stream was weak. Ordering breakfast from the Bistro was complicated but interesting. I would rather have had a breakfast bar for convenience, though I did enjoy the kale bowl option. It was tasty and filling. It is a nice enough hotel but I would not stay here again because of the thin walls. The hotel environment itself was not loud.
I stayed here for four nights on business. My room backed up to a woodsy area. The room was clean and quiet, although it could handle some updating. All in all, the stay was a typical Courtyard stay. I'd stay here again, but I will look around first.
