Very nice hotel. We really like the room, especially the separate shower and toilet rooms. The rooms is very clean. Very nice employees - Doug is one of the friendliest hotel employees we have ever encountered. Thanks for the great stay - we will be back!
Do-it-yourself hotel stay

I am a Marriott rewards member, so I'm familiar with the chains of hotels. When we checked in, we were told that since we were staying a week and because of Covid, that no one would be doing anything to our room. This meant no making the bed, no fresh towels, and no trash pick-up. While walking to our room, from a room across the hall, a person dumped a bag of trash in the hallway. It then sat there for 2 days! Our room was adequate, but not a suite by any description. Except that since they wouldn't be picking up the trash, there were 2 trashcans and no bags in them. I'm not sure what we were expected to do with the trash we created. We also had to go to the desk to ask for towels, since they weren't giving us new ones and there wasn't anywhere to hang the used ones to dry.

There was no hot water through the ENTIRE HOTEL! Since they were at 100% capacity they must of known this happens from time to time. They deferred complaint to guest relations for resolution, whom said the resolution needed to be provided by the location. Left numerous messages for the GM but no return call back. I am a Titanium Bonvoy member, I have been generally satisfied with all of my stays, from Fairfields to Ritz Carltons, but this place is unacceptable. Luckily the BonVoy Elite line got a hold of the GM and I was created my stay by Marriott. But I am considering a switch to Hilton Honors now that I got annual passes to busch gardens.

I made a last minute reservation on hotels.com for 3 to be assured 2 beds. After check-in (at midnight) i realized i was given a King suite instead of a dbl. (may have even been my mistake) As this hotel has the same rate for either rooms i went back to front desk to ask to be moved to 2 beds. The front desk woman was rude and unhelpful. As i had booked via Hotels.com she was not willing to make any changes. I called hotels.com and was told that since i had already checked in it was up to the hotel to make an concession At that hour on a monday night I doubt she could not make this change and have a little empathy and accommodating to a repeat guest. I was traveling with my 85 year old mother. I was a returning customer and had has a totally different experience a few months before. The Next morning I called the manager and she was just as rude and uncaring. She rattled on and on about the rules and regulations forgetting that she is the HOSPITALITY business and one trys to be accommodating to guests, I was not asking to be upgraded as these rooms are exactly the same rate. If the manager is clueless on how to show empathy and offer a friendly stay what can one expect from the staff? I am a hotel owner (2 hotels) and i know they could have made the change to make a customer happy. We do all the time. If a room is available we would have accommodated the guest. The managers ranting only made me more upset. I will not be returning. Manager need to be retrained. She was awful

We are staying here currently and are enjoying ourselves. Rooms are very clean. There is no safe in the room, which is a little disappointing. TVs have apps like Netflix and Amazon so you can sign into your account to watch your shows. The lighting in the bathrooms is dim, so it’s not good for putting on makeup. There’s a microwave and a mini fridge. Coffee maker is a single cup but it’s not a keurig so don’t bother packing kcups.
There is a lot of room to spread out and put your stuff. Separate toilet area from the shower & vanity, but there’s a sink in both so you can wash hands in either. Shower door leaks badly, but that seems to be common in any hotel. There are bathrooms located on the main level, outside the gym. Handy for those moments the bathroom in the room is already occupied. .
Not sure about breakfast because we haven’t been yet. Parking lot has ok lighting. Not super busy right now so we parked closer to the front doors where the lighting is better.
The pool isn’t heated so we didn’t go. The gym has everything you’d need for a cardio or strength workout. Fresh water in the lobby that you can fill a cup with.
7-11 is .6 miles away, so it’s not really walking distance for most people. Beach is an hour away. Any kind of store or restaurant you could want is within 10-20 minutes. The immediate surrounding neighborhood looks clean. I can’t really hear the interstate noise from inside the room.
We are from out of state and the rumor is that nobody wears masks in Florida. That’s not true, and masks have been required in every business we’ve gone in so far, including this hotel.
Overall, this hotel has all the basics, no frills, comfortable, clean, and the staff is friendly. We’d definitely stay here again.
