Late Lunch
Arrived late around four pm at the resort... Too late for a day tour instead we had early dinner at the place and enjoyed the panoramic view of the place. PHP100 fot the giant swing and nest. A great place to unwind. With heated pool. The restaurant serve reasonable price vaind which are good for sharing. We recommend the place food family and barkada get away.. Disconnect
Definitely, the view is majestic, you could see the windmills of pillilia from there. And the IG spots here are like from those of Bali, Giant bird's nest and the swing.... HOWEVER, this place is recommended for those who would really want to disconnect from technology, weak to no signal in your room... makes you have more quality time to talk with whoever came with.
A hilltop adventure at the Bakasyunan Resort Tanay
Bakasyunan Resort in Tanay, Rizal gives a quiet breather from the metro hustle and bustle. The entrance gate is a long walk from its wide parking area. From the gate, the walkway to the left leads to the 2-storey main building welcoming every visitor. The same houses the front desk, bar / lounge and the restaurant. The viewing deck, dormitory and a few function rooms are on the second level. To its right, is the Conference Building, the mini golf nook, lawn leading up to the uphill infinity pool, which gives a panoramic view of Laguna De Bay. The 15-hectare hideaway provides a spectacular view of the Sierra Madre mountain range, Wind Mills in Pililla Rizal as well. Their infinity pool has the best scenic view of the windmills from the nearby town! The place is huge and has plenty of amenities to keep people entertained. There are functional halls, hotel rooms and dormitories around the property. They even have obstacle courses for team building activities. Although some of the facilities were a little dated, our hotel room was clean and spacious. It covers all basics.
Refreshing View
The view is amazingly beautiful and so refreshing, you could also see wind mills from the pool area. There are a lot of ig worthy spots for photography enthusiasts out there. However, service and room is meh. But still worth visiting.
Bakasyunan sa Tanay our Pre-Summer Getaway
This getaway happened last September 28 to 29, 2019. Its a full board meal accommodation for our small group of 13 people. The Bakasyunan sa Tanay is located at 3 Marilaque Hwy, Tanay Rizal. We choose this place at it appears that it is much closer to metro manila where you can drive on not so traffic day for about 1 to 2 hours max. The place is located in a 15 hectare property which offer a panoramic view of the siera madre mountain ranges, Windmill Farm in Pililla Rizal and Laguna De Bay. The Bakasyunan offer not just for small family that can enjoyed a quick weekend getaway but a location perfect for a company to held their annual team building. The resort have 2 big pools that everyone can enjoy. The first pool is located up hill where its offers a panoramic view of Laguna De Bay. Near the pool is a big man made bird nest perfect for pictorial session where you can pay Ph100 for short shots or even better the bird nest at thebtop of the trees or the swing where you ca see the scenary of the sierra madre moutains and the windmill farm. If the person that take your pictures is a good one then you will be able to capture those breathtaking view of mountains and clouds up hills though you have to fall in line patiently and wait for turn. The 2nd pool is located down hill near to their Apartment style room called Carneros Inn. The room is perfect for family of 4 and even big enough to accommodate up 5 or 6 more. The room is ok and the AC is running good, the bathroom is Ok as well with strong running water and has hot showers which I enjoyed, also each of the Carneros room has its veranda which is good if you have drinking session with friends or family, but be sure to bring some mosquito repelant lotion and/or light up some mosquito coil because since its located down hills and there were alot of plants and trees around expect there were also alot of blood sucking sucking insects that roams around the balcony or veranda. If you dont want to be a living blood supply of these insect its better to stay indoors where you can enjoy the coldness of the AC while watching the television installed on each room. The wifi connection is no good specially if your room are located down hills, it so slow up to the point thats is not even connecting. Maybe the management can do something about it moving forward, However if you just want to have a bonding time with your family or friends minus the interuption of Technology then maybe perhaps having no internet connection is not bad at all. Up hills there were more rooms they offer specialy the dormitory for companies having their team building activities, if fact at the time of our visit there is an on going team building from Tellus that takes place and Bakasyunan is perfect for catering a outdoor activities such as zip line, rappel, wall climbing, ATV and mudslide among others which everyone can really enejoyed. All in all the place is perfect for a short drive weekend getaway where you can just bring a pair of swimming gear, a camera to capture the moments and the beautiful scenary up hills and/or just simply have laidback and lazy weekend afternoon with family and/or friends.
