Perfect home away from home!

Great staff and great location! This staff is also very efficient and getting things done! Close to mall and freeway! Heated pool and hot tub on site! Rooms are comfortable! I seriously love this place. It’s a perfect home away from home feeling!

I want to start by saying that the hotel is in a great location within distance of plenty of things to do and great restaurants. The parking felt very secure and the hotel was very clean. The pool was very clean and the hot tub was great to relax in. The rooms were very clean. There were some signs of wear and tear, but that’s to be expected in what seems to be a heavily visited hotel. My only complaints are very minimal. Our first night at the hotel, we discovered that we did not have a shower curtain. My husband went down to the desk at about 10:30 to get one, but the attendant didn’t know where one was. He was very apologetic and informed us that at shift change, he was inform the next manager and that it would be waiting for us at our door the next morning. Well, when we woke up at about 5:30 there was no shower curtain. My husband went down to inquire about one and the attendant that was at the desk and was supposedly to originally bring us one was very dismissive with my husband. We finally managed to get one and put it up. My other complaint lies within breakfast on Sunday morning. The food was great but the one staff member attempting to cook, serve, and clean was extremely overwhelmed. I hope management makes note to attempt to have more than one staff member manning breakfast on the busiest morning when most people are trying to eat before checking out. Aside from him being overwhelmed, the food choices were plentiful and delicious. Other than the one attendant, the staff was wonderful. Both Hector and Tatiana were so friendly and attentive to all of our needs and were very thankful for them! They made the hotel stay for us! Overall, we would stay here again if we made our way back this way.


Absolutely Horrible Stay

The room itself appeared to be ok; however, I went to take a shower and noticed a brown ring in the bathtub. It was frustrating to say the least but I worked with it. I went to bed that night and when I pulled back the top comforter, I observed a reddish-brown stain consistent with blood or some sort of food. Even if this comforter was previously washed—which I’m beginning to doubt that it was—if the stain could not be completely removed why would the staff put that comforter back on a bed for the next guest to use? Additionally I noticed a long hair in the bathroom sink. I was the only guest in this room and I do not have any hair close to that length. This suggests that the bathroom sink was probably never completely cleaned. When I alerted the gentleman working the front desk about the comforter, he informed me that I could switch rooms or I could come to the front desk and get new sheets because he was the only one working. When I opted for another room on the second floor he told me I’d have to pack up everything and vacate the room, bring all my belongings downstairs to return the key, just so he could check me into another room on the second floor and then take everything back upstairs. The lack of common sense in his directive was astonishing. Because I was so tired from my flight I just took the comforter and hoped for the best. The standards at this hotel are abysmal and I was thoroughly disappointed in my stay. I checked out early and went down the street to another hotel where my stay has been superb. There are businesses that epitomize customer service and then there’s the Staybridge Suites in Chandler, AZ. Don’t make my mistake.


Terrible Customer Service - Look Elsewhere

Had a terrible experience here with management. My stay was Sept 3-6. I would give this place zero stars if I could. My stay started out fine but if you choose to stay here, I pray you don't have an issue that requires management support. I had several issues, including being "upgraded" into an accessible room with a shower head at the height of my stomach. Keep in mind I stay at IHG 100 nights a year on business. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that one wasn't available on four separate occasions. Then when one finally called me back the hotel manager was rude and had no interest in solving my problems. He had the nerve to tell me to drop the attitude. Really should look into employment outside of the hotel business. Maybe the DMV? He would fit right in. Also IHG really should take notice, they will never keep people in the hotel rewards program unless customer service goes up.


Gone downhill !!!

We have stayed at Staybridge Suites, Chandler several times pre Covid. We have stayed there twice since the restart. The location suits us fine and the idea of suites is good for us. Unfortunately I don’t think we will stay there again. First issue is Communication…pool was shut due to a monsoon..we were told so many different would open tomorrow, in a couple of days, next week. Pool man worked hard to keep on top of things..was a few days. Lifts..only one worked during our second six night one had a clue when it would be repaired. Receptionist informed us they have been having difficulties with it for a while. Blood on floor outside working lift on floor four for the duration of our stay. Evening not care for meatballs 2 out of 3 nights No salad or vegetables available. Overheard another guest being told they were only allowed three alcoholic drinks,,didn’t bother us, but still…… Housekeeping was extremely disappointing. Ladies worked hard, but not in our room !! Stayed six nights, requested housekeeping half way through, didn’t get it till night before we were leaving at 4.30 pm. Towels need replacing…previous type size and quality better, not the swimming pool type towels they are offering now. It is embarrassing to have to request toilet paper, towels and soap at front desk. Would like to have a safety deposit box in room. No breakfast till 8.30 am one morning due to staffing issues. Poor stock control for breakfast. Delivery seemed to be Sunday evening, by Thursday no bananas or yoghurt available. Milk containers not easy to use…bring back the cartons. Staff.were very helpful, friendly and polite.They all did what they could to help you. Lady who ‘did’ breakfast 6 days a week was absolutely amazing..she just didn’t stop..however, it is too much work for one person to cook, restock, clean tables..and she needed to for some families, sanitise surfaces, remove dirty dishes, empty bins, Appreciate some people have dogs, personally not keen on having them in hotels. Some barking and dogs walking through breakfast area. Hotel needs a refurbishment, less staff in the office and more ‘on the floor’.
