This was our one-night stopover hotel on the way to Florida, and I’m writing this review while still staying here.
Ok, so there’s good and bad. The bad is mostly related to cleanliness. Here we go...
*Friendly, efficient, helpful front desk staff. I was welcomed warmly at check-in, and the process was quick and smooth. Not long after checking in, I received a phone call to see if I was satisfied with the room. I feel kind of bad because I told the staff person it was great, and right as I looked down to hang up the phone, I noticed the first questionable thing, which I will get into more below: a used cotton swab on the floor. I also realized I forgot our toothbrushes and toothpaste and the staff was great about providing with me complimentary toiletries. (I’ve been dealing mostly with one staff member and I don’t remember her name, but she really has been great.
*Pool is good. Bigger than I expected, appeared to be clean, wasn’t overwhelmingly humid and no overwhelming chemical smell like many indoor pools. Kids and I enjoyed it. Plenty of seating and tables, towels provided, etc.
*Location is good—right off the interstate, plenty of restaurants (skip Applebee’s—it was awful, and I’m not one to complain about this stuff).
*Room is huge. Really big for the room type. And the beds and pillows are comfortable.
*Quiet. Seems to be pretty busy, but it’s very quiet anyway.
*Cleanliness. Check out the pics of the bottoms of my feet to see what they looked like after walking around barefoot for a few minutes. My feet are FILTHY. There was also a used cotton swab and water bottle lid left on the floor, as well as hair in the shower (which I didn’t get a picture of before my daughter cleaned it up).
*GA doesn’t have a mask mandate, but I know some private businesses do require their customers to comply. I wish they were doing that here.
Great Stay at Tifton, Georgia

We have stayed at the HEI many times. We were greeted with our names being of the "Welcome Back Board" in the lobby, a great way to say hello! Our paper work was ready and check in was rapid. Our room was properly stocked and clean. The next morning we had a wonderful hot breakfast with milk, OJ, coffee and tea. The cinnamon buns were a thoughtful addition. We recommend the HEI and will be staying at this property in the future.

Our overnight stay was good and Miss Betty who was serving us breakfast was very hospitable and very friendly with all of her morning guests. She’s an asset to the hotel! All the help were also very friendly and helpful. Carrie was our check in clerk and was very informative. The maintenance man was so polite and open the door for us because he saw that we had our hands full and greeted us with thanks for staying with us and have a nice day , but I didn’t catch his name He also greeted us when turning in the keys and asked if we needed a receipt or anything else. Great staff , you should be proud. Thank you,WB
Mostly Very Good

The good: location (right off I-75), clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, friendly staff — all wearing masks, decent breakfast for COVID times (better than most we’ve been to during the pandemic).
The less good: refrigerator was small, old, and missing racks to hold food in door. The toilet was extremely low, like one from an elementary school bathroom.
Would stay here again.

Traveling south we stopped for the night here after seeing the good reviews and value. We were very pleased with location off interstate. Room was large, clean and with sink on outside of bathroom nice for 2 guest. Breakfast in the morning was very decent considering they had to be limited due to COVID. It was a very good stay.
