This is not a high end place but it has great customer friendly staff like Juan Manuel. The room rate for us was $44 per night. For that price we got a nice sized room with a king size bed (memory foam), WiFi, Cable, water, toiletries and AC/Heater. Yes, you get that it most places but for the price you can't go wrong. It is literally a two minute walk to the trendy place for food, La Telefónica and a $2 cab ride to downtown Tijuana or a 20 minute walk. There is plenty of parking and all areas are well lit. If you just need a place to crash this might suit your needs.
I really love this place. Location is great. A little south of the very south end of Revolution. Right across from Telefonica Gastro Park. Walk to Zona Rio and Cultural Center. Comfy bed, great shower, clean room, bottled water, great tv, fab price... you really can’t go wrong. Will definitely be back when I return to TJ! Oh, would totally bring my kids, too!
Happy to stay
I stayed in this hotel in December - very friendly people and it was comfortable- I really do not have much to complain except for some a minor faucet problem- overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody
Its cheap, secured and close to everything in El Centro.
The room looks nice the TV is HD with ALL kinds of premium channels which is a nice touch. Just pull out the box receiver to the edge of the stand if the controls signal doesn't reach. The bed is big and comfy, you get two soft pillows and one big and long firm pillow that my wife appreciated. The AC units controls took a bit to figure out but nothing crazy. All in all a nice stay. I would go back for sure Especially since the Alma Verde Restaurant around the corner was delicious!
The new go-to cheap TJ Hotel
Used to frequent Aqua Rio until some strange charges appearedonmy card. Pacific is $10+ cheaper and less beat up. Actually, rooms are quite nice except for inadequate lighting. Outside looks like a prison, but who cares? Located halfway between old centro and zoba rio. Taxis are clueless about location -- tell them you are near Wells Fargo bar and Pollo Loco.
