Worst stay ever!
Spent the weekend in Tucson with family at this hotel, couldn’t have been a worst experience. First of all any pictures you seen online at any website referring to stay at this hotel is a lie....it’s way outdated, the lobby is a complete joke, the hotel rooms and had no hot water in the sink. The sliding glass door to the outside didn’t lock properly, and ended up thankfully waking up in the middle of the night to a random stranger walking in my room from the outside glass door but thankfully scared them off. After confronting the front desk about the guy smiled and said it happens here?!? Please don’t ever consider spending the night here!
One of the WORST hotel stays ever!
Checked in March 24th at 7pm and the hotel was a ghost town. We went to get dinner and made it back to the hotel at around 10pm and it completely changed. The parking lot was full and it was very loud. Apparently they were having a Quinceañera. It was nice of them to put us in the closest room to the party. We tried for an hour to get to sleep. We even left the tv on to try and drown out the very loud music, but the party was way louder than our tv. We went and told the front desk that we wanted to check out and get a refund and they flat out refused. There was no warning of a party and the front desk refused to help us in any way. We ended up driving back to Phoenix at midnight. This hotel does not deserve your business. Stay away from this dump!
Great for the price
Overall this place was better than i expected for the money. Staff was friendly ,rooms where clean , alittle dated but nice.I would recommend this hotel for its price compared to the others in the area.
Great staff, very accommodating!
The Fortuna Inn and Suites is an up and coming hotel. Some rooms were a bit dated, but the owners are totally remodeling the hotel and it’s coming along! I stayed here two days towards the middle of January 2017 and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Great experience, great staff, awesome owner, my room was clean, and I felt safe (most rooms can only be accessed through lobby entrance and hotel staff were always available, numerous, and vigilant). I would recommend this hotel!
Was in Tucson and because of the gem show and college events rooms were scarce in town. So I took a chanc thinking how bad can it be. As I was walking in a guy was walking out telling the front desk he was not comfortable staying there because the room was so dirty. He got in an Uber and left. I should have done the same. Dirty walls, floor, and bath room. The sheets had holes and stains on them. About 3 minutes in the room and I checked out. They still billed me for one night, but Expedia made it right. STAY AWAY
