Looks very nice when you pull in parking lot but, that isn’t the case after getting to your room. Hotel is very dated.

The kitchen floor was filthy upon checking into our room. The outside stairs to the room were also filthy. The stairs to the loft are very steep and dangerous for elderly and small children. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.
Sonesta ES Tucson

The room was gross- stained floors, grimy handrails and walls, soiled furniture. As a bonus, the room bolt lock mechanism didn't work which prompted an unsafe sentiment throughout the night since there were many roving individuals on the property. On a positive note there was plenty of space to roam in the large room.
Very disappointing stay

The "fully appointed" kitchen had very little. We had to cook pizza on a pot top because there was no baking pan. No dish soap or dishtowels, which they could have issued during check in. We had to use the bath soap to wash dishes. the kitchen faucet was half broken and the coffe pot was cracked and had no lid. the carpeted areas were dirty and stained, had not been cleaned in recent history. the furniture was old and broken, offered no support of comfort. the mattress was bouncy and uncomfortable. The only thing that worked correctly was the AC. We come to Tucson several times a year and I can assure you we will NOT be back to stay at this hovel. We were there for 4 days / 3 nights and each had a single towel. We only had a single bar of soap and had to also use it to wash dishes.
Nice extended stay hotel Tucson

We have stayed here over the last 3 years, while visiting family who live in Tucson. The hotel is located in a great location, the rooms are spacey with kitchen facilities and normally a breakfast. During Covid a few changes have been made as only a sack with a few items in it. Normally I would rate this facility way higher, but over the last 2 visits, Oct and March, the maintenance has gone down considerably. The grounds have deteriorated with old lighting wires exposed. The stairways are not being swept , some trash around the facility, and due to Covid on long stays the rooms not entered and towels etc must be picked up at the office. The rooms nice but showing again lack of maintenance. Closet doors off their slide hinges, kitchen faucets loose, no TV guide to find out what stations are on what channel. If changes are not made soon, we will not stay here again. I write this review to try and get management to address these issues. They can contact me and I will gladly point out specifics.
Not what I expected

Fortunately, I booked this hotel only for 1 night, on my way home to LA. The only reason I booked it, is because I am travelling with a kid and having a kitchen is quite convenient for me. But the hotel is not what I expected. It's a ES (extended stay) property. So... there are people here that stay for months and months. There are rather weird people roaming around. There is one dude who looks like a homeless, or on drugs (or both), who comes out towards our room (we are on a first floor), and just smokes and pacing along in front of our windows. Makes me feel very nervious and uncomfortable. The kitchen is somewhat dirty. Two kitchen chairs are stained. When we walked in the dishwasher was running. I picked in: all of the utensils/cups/cutlery was there being washed. I suppose it was upon myself to put everything to it's place. ( I don't think so). Never touched any of it. Had my own plastic utensils (anyway, that's all I needed for a night). A coffee machine was dirty and missing a basket.
TV in our room was missing an electric cord. A guy came in and fixed that. But... how weird that is.
I don't think I will stay here again. Even though the price was right, and it had a full kitchen.
This place is just run down...
