Hotel Chelsea is right in the centre of Turin. From here you can walk to all sites in the city centre and also to all the restaurants and pubs. It's a 3-star hotel, well-kept and reasonably clean. You can find soap, shower gel and a hair-dryer in the bathroom, the rooms are comfy and there is a good free wi-fi service. The staff is very helpful and friendly. If you park your car outside, you are covered from getting tickets prior to making arrangements with them (they inform the forces that you are a guest at their hotel). They also have a small courtyard garage which needs to be booked in advance. Breakfast is also included and they offer a great buffet ranging from savoury to sweet, cereals, fruit and they also have gluten-free products. The restaurant serves both traditional Turin and dishes from Puglia. We didn't try it but the menu looks lovely! Pets are welcome!
I called them to see if they had a room and they called back and were able to get me in on a Friday and Saturday night. Very nice people and very nice place. Clean and quiet. Very near Palazzo Reale in Centro. The single room was very adequate. The bathroom was small and a little difficult to navigate, but I managed. Breakfast was normal fare, but I liked the electric juicer. I want to note that they don't have an elevator. For me, that was kind of problematic as I have breathing issues.
Great location and service
in the historical centre and close to many of the important museums. A lot of small bars restaurants close by and public transport on the street in front. Staff were polite and helpful ...breakfast okay but no eggs. Would definitely stay again.
A very comfy stay!
Amazing location near the piazza, the staff was very helpful and always available, excellent pancakes in the morning, on request! ♥♥♥ Delicious food is served at the restaurant with choice between local Piemonte food and mediterranean cousine. Very close to the train station and all places of interest, a very good english is spoken by the hotel staff, courtesy and a warm welcome
A wonderful find in Turin
We were very happy in this small, reasonably-priced hotel, located just one block from the Piazza Castello. We had a room for a family of four, which was quite large (the bathroom was enormous, though the shower was small). The room was immaculately clean — not only clean, but the beds sheets seemed to have been freshly pressed. Decent, quiet air conditioning. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast, with the ability to squeeze fresh orange juice; the staff provide hot water for tea, will make coffee to your taste, and are happy to steam milk for anyone who likes their milk warm. If we had to look for negatives, we would say that they could probably vary some of the breakfast choices a bit from day to day. Also, there is no elevator, so you need to be able to climb stairs and carry your luggage up and down. The TV was the size of a small computer display, but you didn't come to Turin to watch TV, did you?
