This was a delightful place to explore Valletta from. The hotel is beautiful, and the room was lovely. The breakfast provided was superb. We really appreciated the extremely helpful staff, and Edwin's very warm welcome when we arrived.

To make it short, I absolutely love this hotel! Located in an old townhouse it is the perfect blend of historic and modern features. The courtyard is covered with a glass roof that is opened on sunny days and spreads a brilliant atmosphere. Location of the hotel is excellent, all the Valletta sights, shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Room was nice with a high roof and a window towards the courtyard. Wifi was excellent, the room well equipped and the bed super comfy. Maybe some people would consider the room a bit too dark and feel enclosed as the window can not be opened. But that is due to the courtyard and townhouse style. The hotel has also a few harbour view rooms, which are obviously with proper daylight and a nice view. Breakfast was very nice. Apart from the regular options they always had some changing healthy as well as typical local items. Best of the hotel is however the rooftop terrace with its amazing harbour view. The pool is very small and sunbeds are not enough if the hotel is full. But it is a city hotel, so for a quick dip it is just perfect. The hotel has a Spa as well, but unfortunately we didn´t have the time to try it out. Hotel staff, especially reception staff is super friendly and helpful. They sorted out all our transfer and tour requests in a perfect way. The charming night portier told us one night the long and interesting history of the building. Amazing! I can highly recommend this hotel for a city trip to Valletta.
Lovely hotel, brilliant staff!

Stayed at the 66 St Paul's for one week from September 12th, Room 303. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Location was perfect for us. On a quiet street just up from the waterfront/Grand Harbour and one below where all the restaurants/bars/shops on Merchant Street etc. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was perfect, being on the third floor we were twenty steps from the rooftop pool. Edina and her staff prepared an excellent choice and variety of foods for breakfast. Every morning we woke up looking forward to the breakfast! George and his staff including Vlad, Mathias and Edwin couldn't do enough for us, suggesting trips, places to eat and organising taxis etc. During our stay there was a small Italian group of students on work experience and we would like to say thank you to Mario and Nicoletta and their colleagues. Evey member of the staff greeted you with a smile on their face and were always interested in knowing where we had been and where we had visited etc. If we ever find ourselves in Valetta/Malta again we would definitely stay here .
Wonderful hotel in a great location!

We stayed for 3 nights pre cruise. This hotel is lovely and deserving of the star rating it has. The room we have was very large, with a typical Maltese balcony. We have a gorgeous see view room and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The bed is very comfy, as were the pillows. Plus the water pressure in the shower is GREAT. The bathroom is larger than large with a huge soaking tub. AC works well and was appreciated in the late summer heat. The service is beyond reproach. The front desk specifically Nicoleta is extremely helpful,,,,from arranging our pick up from the airport, a half day tour of the island with driver Jason ( be sure to request him….fantastic tour) and our ride to the cruise ship terminal (which is tomorrow morning as we leave tomorrow). The breakfast has a great variety from Egg soufflés to meats, cheeses, fruits, pancakes, toast, yogurt….the list is endless. Plus they make you a cappuccino or any type of coffee beverage you’d like on request. And mimosas. Interest speed is good in case that info is needed. The hotel is walking distance to anything and everything in Valletta. The ferry is a 5 minute walk. The lift is down the street for after the ferry. Restaurants and shopping are around the corner, literally,,,,around the corner, but the hotel is quiet and there is no road noise. When we return to Valletta we will definitely stay here again. I hope I haven’t missed anything. We love this hotel.
