Upon early arrival ...was allowed to check in no problem, also had exchange for Canadian money in the lobby. Good rate as well. Very close to beach directly behind the hotel. Rooms come equipped with A/C, fridge, and bathroom. Hotel came complete with restaurant and coffee lounge/ bar.
Dos mares Varadero Hotel
I spent 3 weeks in Varadero in a house in Islazul belonging to Dos Mares Hotelwith my family, the first house on 60th Street was very bad, without lighting, dirty walls, broken bathrooms, broken room televisions, that is a disaster , I requested change, and they changed me to a house in 53 that was a little better, the Uviel companion very correct and friendly always aware of everything, the reception manager of the Dos Mares hotel treated us very unpleasantly and in a very racist way, She addressed us in an anti-professional manner and mistreated us, we do not understand what kind of education that person has and more working with clients, it is stunning, the cleaning lady of the house very good and attentive.
Good place for a short stay
+ Even the hotel is not the newest one it is clean and good located. There is a restaurant and 24-hour bar. The staff is helpful and friendly. We have relaxed and got to Varadero airport easily. - It was a little bit noisy outside (cars, busses, music) at night time.
Motel calle 62
We stay at the motel located at 62 street a great vacation from the reception to the management!! Everything was outstanding our big family was surprised by the installation! We are coming back for sure!! Just one block from the beach!!
great stay
Stayed there february 2018. I was perfectly happy there . No luxuries and a bit worn but the staff was very friendly . I even booked extra days so no complaints . For that price it was perfect . One broken lamp was instantly replaced .
