Late arrival, good service
I arrived late during a cold and windy evening in January. I was not familiar with how to telephone using Zagreb dialling code but a very helpful person who was also waiting to be collected dialled for me, so a very nice welcome to Croatia so far. Having contacted the hotel was told five to ten minutes but a very friendly driver arrived within a few minutes and helped me with my luggage and off we went to the Hotel. I didn't quite know what to expect being so close to the airport but was pleasantly surprised at what I saw and the willingness of the driver to carry my luggage to reception and then, once booked in, to my room. I had a very nice room and the most comfortable bed I've slept in for some time. I had a lovely breakfast and was told I could fill my small bottle with cold fruit juice if I wanted to - which I did :-) I asked about a taxi to the railway station but needed to stop at a sports shop first so expected a bit of a price to pay for the detour. No, the son of the proprietor, which was my driver the previous night, agreed to take me to the shop and then on to the Railway station and did not charge as it was instead of the return trip to the Airport, quite a bit of a difference but he was very happy to do that. All in all a very pleasant stay, made very welcome and very very reasonably priced. I definitely look forward to staying there again this November proving the Virus allows travel.

Ken is the front Office Staff of Dream Bangkok Hotel. He is much willing to solve my problem when telling him that his colleagues refuse to arrange a bigger room for me. Without hesitation,he immediately change another room for me. He is dynamic, devoted, helpful and friendly to settle my request. Once again,I must say thank you toKEN who has offered me the help.
Great finish to our time in Croatia
We spent a little over a week exploring the beautiful country of Croatia. Our travels started in Dubrovnik and continued north to Split (via Bosnia), then to Plitvice Lakes, and on to Zagreb. We were lucky to have the freedom to explore by renting a car. We dreaded our final destination (Zagreb) knowing that it would soon be the end of our trip. We chose Dream Hotel for our final nights mostly because of its proximity to the airport, and a little based on its reviews. After arriving at Dream Hotel, we were pleasently surprised throughout our entire stay! Our room was spotless, spaceous, and very accomodating. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the needs of their guests. The attention to detail within our room was impressive (conveniently placed USB ports, the energy efficient key use, the tap entry to each hotel area and room, The SHOWERS, etc). All of this was great. But what we loved the most was the customer service. We even received a basic lesson in how to read and speak Croatian. This was from the lovely women at the front desk. Even better, She went above and beyond to contact some other guests that we were sharing an UBER with (we had just met them and had no idea what their names were). I regret not asking her name. The conversations we shared with our shuttle drivers to and from the airport were also amazing. Especially for my boyfriend, who can talk about footy for hours! A few useful hints if staying at Dreams: -you can take an UBER to the main train station for about $15-$20 CAD during prime time (15-25min). Or just grab the bus (not sure on price) which gets you to the same place in approx 50 min to 1hr. -from the train station, you can easily walk to Lower town and up to Upper Town. -its about a 10 - 15 min drive to Dream Hotel from the airport. And they offer free pickups. Zagreb was my favourite city in Croatia for many reasons. The Dream Hotel was a major reason why. Thank you, Dream Hotel, for making our last moments in Croatia so great. We hope to see you soon!
A night at the dream hotel
We had a great time there. Perfect rooms, variety of foods at breakfast and great service! We got stuck with the car when we arrived and they helped us to move it and then clean the car as a compensation. Very nice.
Excellent Stay Near The Airport For Our Return Home
Our travel agent had recommended the Dream Hotel for our return home after 6 weeks in old town, Dubrovnik, and while we were assuming it was just a "typical, near the airport accommodation", we were extremely impressed with the service, accommodations, food, and value. We were given a big/bright/quiet corner room on the ground floor, spotlessly clean, with over height ceilings, electric window blinds and a great A/C system that kept us Canadians comfortably cool. We were going to stretch our legs and walk off site to find some dining choices for dinner, but being that we had an early departure the next morning, we decided to stay put and eat at the hotel's Dreams Restaurant and WOW, what an excellent dinner it was, at a very reasonable price. It doesn't get any better than this and with the quick private pick-up at the airport, and return shuttle the following morning (and breakfast included) for less than $100 Canadian, we were extremely pleased. Enjoy.
