Expensive and old
Hotel has very old decoration and furniture. Renovation could be needed to make fresh start. There is no real luggage room they did just store some luggages under the stairs which I don't understand well. Breakfast ordinary typical sweet Italian breakfast nothing special. Reception workers seem to be overly friendly but then in turn notice some of them to be crooked and unpolite behind the back. Room was very dirty don't know if there is daily cleaning or just sometime cleaning. I guess price could be cheaper when compare what get with this price its more like hostel quality. It's too long walking distance to the centre better to go by bus or taxi.
Verona business trip
2 nights in the hotel, location for the exhibition centre and train station was great. Beds were so hard though. Breakfast was limited but good. Coffee was great. For business it was great. Not sure whether I would class it as a romantic hotel get away. But for a weekend in Verona it would be fine.
Awfull. They had to re-check their facilities and to re-teach their stuff how to care about it.
I seriously hit my leg in night by the sharp stell plate from the broken bad base. Was lucky not to cut off my finger, just got a big gematoma. It's impossible case even for 3-star hotel. No mercy from the hotel, just "we are sorry".
Clean & comfortable
Well signposted from the station concourse, 5 minutes’ walk. Up a grotty street and looks a bit run down but smart and modern inside apart from the ancient lift which must be a relic from before the hotel was renovated. Room very clean and nice touches like fruit bowl, tea & coffee making, newly laundered towels in plastic, bathroom amenities. Bathroom a bit small but fine. All spotlessly clean. Double glazed opening windows and no traffic noise. Mattress a bit lumpy. Huge range of tv channels. WiFi good. Helpful reception staff. Good value for proximity to the station.
Staff was great and close to station everything else not so much
First the good - staff was very nice - super close to train The bad - no restaurants/store/etc close by. Far from the center. We tried walking a day and it was very far. About 1.7 miles each way. Cab is $15 euros each way The hotel is dated. Beds are very hard. Breakfast was included buttttt and a big butt YOU CANNOT BRING FOOD FROM OUTSIDE TO EAT IN THEIR DINING AREA only in your room? They say security. They can order food and you can eat. Crazy You can stay midway to center of Verona and that’s not far from train either to get the best of both worlds. Feel bad posting negative review but between the room, the food issue, and proximity to center of Verona - this was an epic fail
