I was working near by and found this holiday inn express. Very nice staff and clean hotel. Wish they could do a hot breakfast but I understand why they can’t right now. We still got some grab and go items and a hot biscuit! Will stay again On our next visit.
weekend visit
Wonderful front desk clerk! He was very energetic and helpful; he gave us recommendations for lunch, dinner and things to do in area. Very clean and has been updated. Wonderful "gathering" (game room, pool table. lots of big screen TV's) areas in lobby as well as reading areas. Perfect location for our needs. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. As usual beds/pillows/bathroom clean and great!
One night get-away
Just a night from the kids. The hotel was ok the carpet needed to be vacuumed. The hallway was strong with the smell of weed. The room was ok. The walls are thin and light was coming in from around the door. The bed was not to comfortable. My husband woke up with a backache. The curtains had holes in it. Its an ok place for a one night stay.
Dirty and needs a major update
I am an IHG Gold member. I stayed here for one night and that was more than enough for me. The AC machines attached to the walls on the hallways had tapes all over them to hold the covers. The furniture is from last century. Room was not clean enough at all. I think they vacuum the place once a week or something. The entire place smelled dusty. Interestingly enough they redid the outside of the hotel. It looks fantastic on the pictures and when you pull in to the parking lot. The inside is a whole different story.
Military Frindly
I can say how much I enjoyed staying her and how friendly the staff was. Now this is the only hotel I stay at when I am in Richmond. The location is a few minutes from the highway and there are stores and restaurants nearby.
