Un lugar cómodo en un agradable entorno
Un hotel cómodo con habitaciones amplias ubicado en un lugar tranquilo pero con muy buenas conexiones hacia Richmond y su aeropuerto. El servicio mu bueno y las habitaciones con cocina permiten independizarse de horarios de comida.
We appreciate a full kitchen
Stayed one night in a K studio suite. Having a full size refrigerator is important to us, but glad we brought plasticware because there were no eating utensils (possibly due to the COVID-19 pandemic?). Clean but showing its age (some worn spots on carpet, a little rust on the shower drain).
Very Restful Night
When we arrived after an 8 hour drive, we entered a very clean room with all the comforts. It was updated and very clean. The room was comfortable and had lots of extra space to move around in. The staff was great from the moment we arrived, till we left. I thought we were short hand towels and Leslie, went to Housekeeping to get us a few more. He was so nice and helpful Great person to have on staff. I did find the other hand towels after he went to get more. My fault for not checking well. Even so, he handed us more towels with a great smile. I would recommend at least two chairs to sit at table, not a desk chair. It is difficult to eat when there are not chairs for this. A full kitchen is provided and because of Covid, we chose to eat in. Another suggestion is to post the directions for the dishwasher nearby. We were unable to run before we left because we were unaware that you needed to press start twice for it to run. The staff and maintenance crew do a good job and make you feel very welcomed with their smiles and willing to do anything for you. I do recommend this hotel if you are traveling for leisure or business.
The room was smokin'
My husband was here on business so I decided to stay one night with him. When I got there nobody was at the front desk then someone showed up to help me. He gave me the key I went up to the room the key didn't work. I called down from the hallway and he said he'd be happy to make me a key. But I had to come down and get it. That key did work. When my husband got back from work I'd ask him to grab me a water while he was in the lobby but of course nobody was at the front desk. When I first walked in the hotel smelled of smoke and the room smells of smoke. And then I found cigarette ashes behind the bathroom door. We do not smoke.
Wouldn't stay again
First, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The property, however, is in dire need of updating. Our room had a dishwasher that was falling apart, mold around the AC vent and the ceiling near the vent, and the hair dryer worked, but the case was cracked. There was some mildew around the shower door as well. The young man on the front desk was very apologetic, and discounted our room, but all in all this property is not worthy of the Hilton brand.
