Take the boat tour!
We really enjoyed the boat tour. We were able to see all kinds of wildlife and learn so much about the springs. We're hoping to do it again in the fall when we get back to the area. The boat tours sell out fairly quickly, especially since they're operating at reduced capacity, so make sure you reserve your spots online in advance. We booked ours on a Tuesday and only Friday slots were available by that time, so plan ahead!
Awesome boat tour!
My husband and I really enjoyed the boat tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the springs, as well as the native wildlife. We saw alligators of all sizes, manatees, turtles, a snake, and many beautiful birds. We also appreciated the COVID-19 precautions taken.
Awesome boat tour
Captain Kat was awesome! Great boat tour around the springs; packed with lots of wildlife sightings and interesting information. Nice little gift shop and snack bar worth checking out too. Fun experience for all ages!!
Day trip to the Springs
We just moved to Tally from MN and heard about Wakulla Springs from the bumper stickers around town! So glad we did the boat tour - so much information from the naturalist and TONS of wildlife sightings, including manatees and gators!
Boat tour now requires reservations
Still the same amazing boat tour, but, advised that you need to go to the website first to get tickets on advance. Because of the virus, they are only taking about 10 people at a time, so make sure you book your tickets ahead. It was fun (again). We saw all sorts of Florida birds, manatees and even swimming gators. We'll be back!
