Very noisy

Reviewed 25 september, 2022

If you want to stop in a hotel with dirty stained carpets, pillows that are lumpy and a mattress that should have been disposed of years ago then stay here. Room is very dated and shower poor flow. Very noisy over the weekend we recently stayed there (23-25 September 22 )with the locals shouting and arguing until the early hours of the morning outside.Don’t expect any sleep! Will definitely not return although the location was good.

Disgusting, the owners should be ashamed

Reviewed 18 august, 2022

This hotel is filthy, bed sheets had not been washed from the previous people who had stayed, there were yellow stains all over the beds, and hair in it, it was that bad we didn't even sleep in the beds. Shower had not been cleaned it was black full of dirt and peoples hair all over it. We had a terrace next to our room but the door to it was broken and only opened a jar so couldn't even go on it. Plug socket didn't work so couldn't charge my phone. Curtains were hanging off the rails. And the best part is the receptionist gave us the wrong key to get into the hotel. So when we got back to the hotel at 1am after the Coldplay concert we were locked outside the hotel with the wrong keys, luckily somebody else that was staying there turned up and was able to let us in. There was no receptionist there at that time so if the other guests hadn't have turned up we would have been locked out on the streets all night. This is completely unacceptable and I cannot believe this hotel is even allowed to operate in these appalling filthy conditions. They should be ashamed

Shocking Service

Reviewed 16 august, 2022

Arrived and hotel looked old and worn down! When we got here, we were told we needed ID which we were not told about during the booking process. I offered ID of family members which we had but they would not take it. They were very rude and did not tell us where to park and told us to ‘sort it ourselves’. All staff were very rude and would not recommend to anyone!

Terrible

Reviewed 15 august, 2022

me and my friend booked here for the Saturday just gone. we booked separately but as we travelled together checked in at the same time. I put my bags in my allocated room but my friend refused his as the window didn’t close securely. i returned to my room after the Coldplay concert to find that someone else was in there. I could not get into the room as I am guessing that they had the key in the other side, which was probably a blessing. They threatened to phone the police, because I think that they must have thought that I was trying to break in. I then went down to reception and was told that there had been a mix up and they gave me my bags that they had packed back up for me and was holding in reception and took me to a different room. I slept in the new room and it was the next morning when it dawned on me that this could be my friends room that he refused and sure enough when I checked the window did not lock and my friend also confirmed it. I wasn’t expecting much for the price paid in London but it is not acceptable to be placed in that situation and it could have been very different if it had escalated with neither myself or the people who were placed in my original room being at fault for any of this.

Dirty hotel not fit for purpose

Reviewed 29 june, 2022

I stayed in number 22. Bed sheets had stains on them. Room was very dirty and dusty. Thin curtains. The water flow from the shower was awful was impossible to use (had to shower elsewhere). There was even used soap in the bathroom! Would have complained to the reception but he wasn’t there. Avoid!!! There is absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in by far!
