Amazing accommodations, wonderful staff, and great breakfast!

This hotel was awesome! Clean and spacious rooms, and the staff was so friendly. The pool was great for my kids and they loved the breakfast that had a wide variety of options. Staying at this hotel made my entire experience better.

Had such an amazing stay!! Staff was extremely helpful with everything we needed. Friendly and respectful. Rooms were super clean. Also loved the location. We were ten minutes from Vivint Smart Home Arena. Definitely will be staying here again.
Dirty Room and 76 degree fitness center?
Opinión escrita el 7 de mayo de 2021
After reading the positive reviews online, I was really surprised by this property. My first issue was that it was dirty. As you can see from the photos I took, there were potato chips in the airconditioner - like lots of them. Secondly, there is no ice machine so we went to the freezer to get ice and found brown ice in the icebox (gross). There was also loose change on the bathroom floor when we arrived. The tub didn't look very clean as well. So - some general cleaning issues there that we were not impressed with - especially during COVID. The largest issue that I had was that we booked this hotel SPECIFICALLY because of the fitness center. We had a long day at the airport ahead of us and I wanted to start it off with a nice run. We went in after check in to excercise (6pm) and found the thermostat at 76 degrees. It was too hot to breathe, much less excercise. The therostat was set to "cool" but you could feel the hot air just pumping out of the vents. I reported it to the front desk and they did absolutely nothing. I told them I propped the door open with a weight to try to cool the room down and asked them to please leave it that way. They said they would and it was in their "shift notes." You can imagine my surprise to come down at 4 AM in the morning to run and find it - again at 76 degrees - with the door closed. They claimed another guest had shut the door after working out but I find it hard to believe anyone actually was able to work out in there at those temperatures. I sent them a message asking them why the room was set to 76 degrees, why they didnt change it despite having ample time and they told me management would get in touch with me by that evening. Which was a lie. They never responded. I then called back yesterday to follow up after they failed to bother to call back and asked to speak with the general manager and was told they would call me back today- which they still have not done. Nothing like a bad stay followed up by sloppy management. Also we are Marriott Gold Elite members, which usually gets an upgrade but they put us on the 2nd floor so IDK what happened there. Regardless, the location is good but the cleaning and responsiveness from staff leaves much to be desired.
Smelly and dirty

No upgrades for Titanium Elite member; front desk staff claimed they were all booked up, but I wonder if they discriminate based upon having a pet. The common areas of the building stunk and had to put on the AC in room to get the smell down in room. Floors were still dirty from previous guests - near bed edges and eggshells on kitchen floor (yuck!). No tableware or silverware in room, just a few paper plates/bowls/silverware. Are they afraid we will take off with real dishes?!?! Couldn’t be covid related bcs their common areas had no covid protections in play and front desk staff as well as guests only partially and sometimes not at all complied with their posted mask policy. Marriott should be ashamed to have such a disgusting stained and torn up sofa chair in the room. Come on Marriott .. where are your standards? One light by the bed was missing a bulb and there are no spots to hang your towel after use. As for the walking area across the street, pet owners beware of all the glass on/around the path. And note the patches of grass around the hotel are full of cigarette butts, garbage and poop piles. This was by far the worst part of our spring ski trip, so much so that we cut our stay short and booked remaining nights at a different hotel.

We stayed at TownePlace Suites for one night on a cross country road trip. Our priority was to find a Covid safe hotel due to a family member being immunocompromised. We felt we had a good experience at The TownePlace suites. The front desk people wore masks and there was a plastic barrier. The room was clean and we felt precautions had been taken. The only concern we had was that other guests did not respect the signs saying masks required. But many people weren’t wearing masks in this part of the country - so this wasn’t a surprise. Overall - a good and safe experience.
