Nice hotel but parking is cramped
Opinión escrita el 16 de Julio de 2021
Really nice hotel especially for the money. Very spacious king suite with a living area and separate bedroom. Nice lobby. Friendly staff.
My only complaint is the parking. There were big trucks parked in the lot daily. Box trucks, tractor-trailers, and pickups with long trailers. Some were parked at the back end of the lot on the south side where they should have been. There is a huge vacant lot right next door where they could have parked but most parked in the main lot.
The jackwad in the photo decided he is special and gets to take up eight (8) parking stalls so he can park his ridiculous truck and trailer just a few steps from the front door. Newsflash tool bag - you’re not special. I hope you were stuck and couldn’t move for hours all thanks to the cars parked in front of and behind you.
To the hotel: I would go five stars if the parking was better. I really think the simple fix is to make sure the big trucks don’t hog the close spots. If you can’t fit in one stall, you don’t need to be in the main lot on the east.
Superb visit - great location

Was a great visit - super pool area, the room was spotless. There is a restaurant on-site, and the desk staff was very helpful. Only downside was the lack of daily room cleaning by staff - due to COVID. Could get towels from from desk as needed.
Nice try glowies!

Kansas, 2020. As always, I suffered an EMP attack while I was here, as is pretty common in KS. Lost all coms. As soon as I vacated the area, my service was restored, but it took a long time to rendezvous with my cooperative. I eventually found him at the hotel. The staff were all great sports about the mixup that the glowies caused, as well as the huge amount of alcohol left behind.
This place has great amenities.
Still a nice place at a reasonable price!!

After driving for a couple hours, a heavy lunch and then shopping with the wife I was ready to relax a little around 2 so we headed to the hotel hoping we could check in a little early like we have so many times before. When I arrived, I was told that our room wouldn't be ready for 45 minutes. So, we drove around for awhile and headed back a little after 3. The receptionist, Lea, I'm sure noticed I was less than happy previously was happy to tell me that she was able to upgrade us to a larger room. I am an IHG Premier member so I somewhat expect that most times. To our surprise we found that we had been upgraded to the Executive Suite which was very large and two floors. I didn't even know that had these rooms at this hotel. While the furniture and carpet were dated, it was still a very nice room with a jacuzzi tub. My only disappointment would be that our room keys failed twice. I didn't bother to have them replaced the 2nd time since we would soon be checking out.
First visit to Wichita, Ks.

I accidentally found this gem of a hotel while visiting with my daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter, I usually do not like chain hotels, however this particular hotel was the exception. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly, helpful and very professional. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable with top of the line pillows and bedding. The Keurig pots and coffee pods in the rooms were a big hit as well! This hotel had an attached restaurant and bar. Good food and beverages with very fair pricing. Kids eat free for breakfast! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to visit Wichita, Ks.
