Good price, clean, Near U-bahn

The hotel has no luxury but has everything that you need. The Wi_Fi was not working. That was very disappointing because I really need the internet for my work. The reception gave the private password which only works in reception. To have the Wi_Fi you need to go down two floors. Breakfast was good. The personal was friendly. The place is a little far from the main attractions (Museums, Kreuzberg etc..). But U-Bahn is just 1 minute away which is very convinient. U-Bahn tickets in Berlin are very expensive! it is right at the center of shopping street celled Ku-Damm. The bus M29 is very good to reach the hotel and whole Berlin. Indeed using bus M29 would be much better than U-Bahn if you stay in this hotel. Also there is direct public bus from Hotel to Airport Tegel. The pillows were awful.

This is the most horrible hotel I have ever been to.
It looked like a prison hole, with a small window that u could not open or even move the curtain. Very dark and very out dated and very dirty.
On the internet sites, they claim to have wifi, NO I WAS TOLD NO WIFI WAS AVAILABLE the day i was in that hotel. I do have breathing issues in narrow spaces, i went to ask the reception to change me to a more spacious room, i was denied although i said to be prepared to get another room and pay for it, that was not possible because i booked with agoda up front, there’swas no cancellation possible or change even upgrade. The bathroom was so narrowed that no body can take a shower while standing. Im 1,72m imagine a dutch guy, would not even take a shower on his knees. I blame Agoda and Booking.com who advertise these kinds of hotel without inspecting them. This is very scandelous to let people stay in these kind of squats and call it Hotel in such a big and famous city SHAME ON YOU.
Do NOT check in here unless you wanna share your bed with bugs/insects!

Please do NOT check in here.. unless you wanna share your bed with bugs/insects!
I checked in. First i see a bug crawling under the pillow... 2 min later i saw a spider in the bed too!! I took my stuff and went to the reception to inform them. It should be noted that the receptionist could only speak like three words in English. The lady told me that she had to call her boss.. after that she was told that I should go and show the insects to her in the room.... of course they don't stay at one place so when we get in the room again they are obviously gone from the bed. The lady then says "Look, normal!".. I tell her that it is not normal and I don't wanna sleep in there and that I want another room.. Then she looks weird at me.. and has to call her boss again.. all in very bad English. I can also hear hear the boss sounding VERY angry on the phone now in another language than deutsch. She offers to get another room. I then go and check it out, and, surprise, I find another bug!!! This time on the curtain right above the pillow. I take a picture of it this time to have proof and go out again to show it at the reception.. She just looks at me like I am stupid. I then told her I wanna check out right now! Guess what, she has to call her boss again... The boss is now screaming on the phone.. After that she says "you no money back" and then she tries to explain something i did not understand at all. Finally she tries to say something like that the room is on the first floor so it is close to the street and therefore the spider is there?? And then she offers a room on the 4th floor 😂 I was sooo tired Because it was very late so i said fine. Then i go up there and find another womans hair right there on the bed.. I checked out immediately, and I am sure that they did absolutely NOTHING to fix the rooms...

Hotels location is very good, very good restaurants/bars near. Staff is polite but all of them dont speak any english. Single person room was at the 5th floor so you need to dome some walking and clime few steps to get there. The room was better than expected. Clean and enough space for one person.
Great rooms, great staff, great location.

I took my wife to Berlin for a city break to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. It was not my original choice for a romantic getaway, but it delivered an interesting and fulfilling weekend away. I had chosen the hotel from a number offered me by the travel company and I had checked the reviews on trip advisor and saw enough to encourage me. When we got to the hotel I became nervous as it looked a bit run down and the stairs up to the reception were not very clean and the lift was very small. However, the staff were very nice and very helpful, we had arrived too early to book in, but they were happy for us to leave our cases in the dining area and to come back later, which is what we did. The hotel is located at the top end of the fashion district with big name shops such as Channel and Versace, a short walk away. Turn left out of the hotel and about 200 meters away is the underground which links to the overground trains to central Berlin. Go one stop on the "u" train and then upstairs to the S Bahn and you are in central Berlin in about 20 mins. When we got back to the hotel to book in we were delighted to find that our room was huge with a double bed, two sofas and a table an chairs. The en-suite was comfortable if a little compact, but it was clean and there was everything you would need for a short stay. The crowning glory was the balcony which looked out onto Kurfuerstendamm and gave us a prime view of the Berlin marathon on Sunday morning as well as somewhere to smoke and relax with a drink. The breakfast room was clean and had plenty of tables, but you did feel a little hemmed in at busy times. The breakfast was plentiful and offered continental and cereals with very nice coffee and tea. The toaster did not really work well and we may have had more luck with a candle, but that was the only downside. All in all we had a great stay in a spacious and comfortable, clean room, with friendly staff and good access to the city.
