A let down!

The place came recommended, and became a let down. Booked in via late rooms, 2 adults, 2 children, B&B as stated. Somewhere in the booking they didn't receive the children, aged 3&5, charged an extra £80 for the children, informed was a futon mattress on booking, but was few cushions thrown on the floor, and no breakfast supplied! There was a breakfast menu in the room, yet were told 'we don't do breakfast anymore!'. The room was comfortable, hence why no one star rating. In the end the children stayed with the relatives we came down to see, very disappointed.
Brilliant, what a superb place to stay!

This is a real treasure, right in the middle of this lovely town, everything is within a short walk, great restaurants, pubs, shops and more. The room I had was superb, with a huge bed, sofa, good TV with Sky Q and free and fast WiFi. I also had a large en-suite bath and shower room with connecting dressing room. The proprietors were exceedingly welcoming and friendly and great to chat to. I would recommend it to anyone who wants luxurious accommodation in this area and will definitely be back if I'm visiting the area again.
Beautiful Bed and Breakfast in a Great Location

A stunning house off the square in the bustling little town of Wimborne. A beautiful garden with hot tub and garden buildings running right alongside a lovely brook. The location of Percy House was phenomenal, with every little pub within just a short walk and warm cafes and bookstores just around the corner. The hosts were unbelievable, and provided some of the best cooking my wife and I have had in England. Close to countryside walks, a magnificent old minster, and local shopping boutiques. The price was affordable, and with the dining option we really felt like we made out well. We only stayed for a week, but this would be a great get away for a longer term. The rooms available to us were at the top of the house, one with a great balcony view overlooking the garden. Seemed like it would be good for a family or group as the top floor had separate rooms. Will definitely book again if traveling through Wimborne or the surrounding area.
Best place to stay in Wimborne!

Percy house is great, we stayed here for a few months a while ago when working in the area and have come back again as its just the best place to stay, your instantly made to feel welcome and the owners are very attentive and respectful, they didn't mind what times we would be coming and going, even though I'm sure we were making too much noise.
We stayed on the top floor which has a double bed and 2 singles, it was great for us as a group of builders as it is essentially self contained, with its own bathroom, living area, tea making facilities and fridge. Sure some of the windows need some work and the heating sometimes plays up, but that blow heater is a beast an is more than adequate if the heating if temporarily on the fritz.
All in all, if in the area I wouldn't stay anywhere else, I'm working in Blandford in December and will be staying here if available, plus it's 30 secs from the main square!

The house is lovely until you get to the top floor. The rooms I had were very sad and dated. It was very cold and there was no heating. The shower was so dirty with ingrained dirt that it couldn't be used. The one quilt on the bed was totally inadequate for the cold weather and there were no other blankets. The tiny fan heater I was given only blew out cold air.
A very disappointing stay.
