I came to Boston for work at the last moment. John D got me a room, was very pleasant about it, and continues to help me when I need things. He is in my opinion, their best asset! The room is clean, updated, and comfortable.
Generally tolerable. Full breakfast is back!!

This hotel is a mix; nice shower room but a tiny sink outside the shower room. The tub was extremely slow to drain but the shower head was nice. The pump bottle of soap was empty in the shower but the towels were soft.
The carpet was sorta warped on the floor but the room temperature control system worked really well. The bedding was wonderful but the desk chair was low to the floor with no adjustment, I sat in the chair on 2 pillows. The wi-fi was year 2000 stability, difficult to work on-line under wi-fi drop out conditions. The hot tub was empty under the excuse of COVID but it looked a wreck and my guess is it did not work. The fitness room looked good but I did not use it. Breakfast was back with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, oatmeal, hooray for that. I did not have any issue with noise though I-95 is in the backyard of the hotel.

I checked into this hotel around 10 PM for 2 days. I informed the desk clerk that my son was sick and I needed to get some much needed sleep. They gave us room 502. I got to sleep around midnight, excited to see my son asleep finally.I awoke around 8 AM to banging. I thought perhaps the hotel was installing pictures and trying to go back to sleep to no avail. I left to get coffee around 10 and stepped right in glue! Carpenters were installing carpet, hence the banging. I came back to the room and the glue smell was overpowering, permeating the nostrils. Could not eat my breakfast.
The next evening, I asked the front desk for a later check out than 11 and explained our situation of needing sleep. She smiled and said, of course. She gave us a 1pm checkout. I was so grateful, I thought maybe the hotel had redeemed itself. Not so much, things got worse. I took some Nyquil, set my alarm for 12 and finally was sleeping like a baby. I awoke to angry pounding on my door at 11 AM. It was the manager in a suit asking why I had not checked out. I advised him of the night clerk who told us we could stay until 1. He angrily shook his head and said, NO. 12 PM is all she was authorized. I told him I would leave ASAP. I went in the shower and not 10 minutes later, more angry banging. It was the maid. She was kind after I explained but why doesn't the hotel communicate with its employees? I was humiliated to have this young manager yelling at me, a much older lady. I contacted the hotel but they have given me no response.

Needed a base of operations while wife visited Salem and Portland Maine. As most hotels to the north were running 200-600 dollars a night we chose to drive and save money.
Hotel is sandwiched between I-95 and a busy street which is fed and feeds the interstate.
That said, hotel was surprisingly quiet. Yes there was some road construction noise one night, but that was beyond the control of the hotel.
Staff was super helpful. Building and room were very clean. Breakfast was not back 100% but very nicely done.
Bed was clean and comfortable.
Yes the bathroom wss small, but this hotel is designed for visiting people just needing a place to land for the night.
Dunkin next door and a shopping center with fsst food and a Market Basket food store across the street plus other stores and restaurants nearby.
Good hotel, but light sleepers beware

The room was clean, well-stocked, and large. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was great -- friendly, efficient, and accommodating. There was only one issue, which is probably out of the hotel's control: on the back side it overlooks the interstate, and on the front it sits right on a busy local highway, at an intersection that is particularly a hub for truck traffic. Even on the highest floor there is really no room that is free from both the rumble of trucks on one side and the swish of speeding cars on the other. Many of the hotels in this area are right off of one of the interstates, but this hotel is one of the noisier ones.
