I’m a Gold Plus member with IHG and Lavette upgraded our room! She was the epitome of professionalism, as were all personnel LAR the hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels and Lavette made our experience enjoyable and made us feel important!

Unkempt and complete disregard for COVID safety. We limited our stay and recleaned upon arrival. Staff and guests not masked. Desk staff seemed to indicate that this was a corporate attitude, not necessarily a local or isolated disregard.

The grounds were filthy; leaves and cigarette butts around the entrance, and leaves and trash in the lobby and elevator. I spent maybe five minutes near the front desk, and during that time two customers complained, and wanted to change their room.
There were probably 15 mold spots on the ceiling above the shower.
Very noisy at the north end of the building as it's very near I-94.

The room overall was clean and spacious. Bed was really comfortable and had nicer pillows that did not go flat when you laid your head on it. The shower ceiling though, I think had the start of mold. There were grey/black spots and it seemed like there was a crack as well. Did not notice till the next morning when went to take shower. Did mention when we checked out. Pool was nice, though the hot tub was out of order. Wish they would put that on the website as was really looking forward to that after a heavy day of driving. Breakfast, well, we are in Covid, was well, yeah. Not much of a selection, you could have an egg omelet, no toast, juice, yogurt, cinnamon roll or an orange. That was it. Like I said is Covid time frame and they are going the best they can with what they have to do to follow rules. At least it was something, had been to others that say they have breakfast and have nothing. So i guess, it is what it is. Would stay here again though all things considered. Like the title says, had a fantastic night sleep.

Was very disappointed in the stay. Overall the hotel is okey but needs updating and repairs. Disappointed in staff and overall friendly atmosphere. Front desk person (female) during day shift could use a makeover on customer awareness and service. Had unresovled issues and service is not what I am used to from a Holiday Inn Express
Checked in and first room had running toilet that would not flush. Was moed to another room and that room had outlets that did not work so had to unplug Microwave and other things to get plugs that worked. Called front desk and told her i will stay in room but please have manager next day know the issues and possible adjust rate. Never heard from anyone. TV in Fitness room did not work said no connection. Asked front desk to fix and next day same thing never fixed it until i asked 3rd time. Did not recieve housekeeping services or towels on final day even though i left room at 9AM ans was gone all day only to find room not made or towels. Told desk person to advise Mgr. At checkout told person all these things and she did not even adddress them or apologize or offer any satisfaction and not even thank you. Unprofeesonal to say least. Only things good is Breakfast which was outstanding. Beds are low, bathjroom had mold or discolored celing and chips. Not a pleasant stay at all
