Charm, elegance, and outstanding personal service
Opinión escrita el 30 de novembre de 2021
Beautiful decor, lovely grounds, and extremely comfortable suites. Paul and Mirlin not only fulfilled all requests, but got to know us on a personal level and adjusted to serve even those unspoken ones. Paul is an amazing chef and the 3 course breakfasts daily spoiled us! He even shared recipes and cooking tips which I plan to put to good use. What began as a short stay at a B & B, ended up as a wonderful opportunity to be pampered and meet such wonderful people! Many thanks.
Extremely small bathroom
Opinión escrita el 27 de novembre de 2021
We did not care for the Reynolds mansion, the bathroom is so small that it was virtually impossible to move around in. The other thing that we did not like was the room was extremely dark burned out light bulbs a lot of frayed wiring on the lights, scared us. Breakfast was okay the problem was they start breakfast at 9:00 and end at 10:00 it's a four-course breakfast, that being said if you want to get an early start on sightseeing you're out of luck. I would not stay here again
Reynolds Mansion stay
Opinión escrita el 16 de novembre de 2021
My wife and I came here as an anniversary trip and it did not disappoint! We are not morning people at all but getting up for breakfast was well worth it. From the genuine hospitality to the historical mansion we were thoroughly pleased. Thank you Paul & Mirlin!
Misses The Mark
Opinión escrita el 15 de novembre de 2021
Arrived to a locked door (4:00) and waited. Outside of town but not an appealing location. Apparently, you are held to your approximate arrival time. Not being familiar with Asheville, traffic does not count. Carriage house room was adequate. We worked through the smoke detector and wrong key. (suggest cleaning the ceiling fan blades) Breakfast was quite elegant as promised. Timing may clash for those who either eat less or start their day before 10:00. Possibly Covid related but was a bit regimented. Overall, a place that four of us would not return to.
Excellent hospitality, beautiful location

The hospitality, food, location, and grounds were excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much that one afternoon rather than exploring Asheville, we chose to be at the mansion and sit on the various porches to visit, read, and enjoy the scenery. Breakfast each morning was an event with delicious food beautifully presented.
