Charming and clean hotel in a good location

Loved this hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great location on the beach, nice pool and lovely grounds. Gave 4 instead of 5 because it is a little rustic and worn out. Also, the restaurant had limited menu items available. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite over looking the ocean. The suite is in dire need of a make over. It’s clean but old and dated. The two bathrooms with bathtubs were just too narrow to shower in. The saving grace was that the beds weee very comfortable. Our whole family got a good nights sleep.

Having always stayed A/I when visiting Barbados this time we opted for room only to experience more of the eateries around. Coral Mist had a fabulous location, on the beach, amazing views and importantly the room was kept spotless. Lots of places to eat nearby and a 20 minute walk from the gap, Worthing food court few minutes away.Clean towels every day. While we enjoyed the hotel we felt more cld have been put on for guests. There was no entertainment at all, no managers party, the week we were there anyway and almost all other hotels put this on. The bar/ restaurant closed at 6pm each day so no chance to meet and socialise with fellow guests except for on the beach or pool area. All prices have gone up but the price of drinks and food was exorbitant. 2 rum punches and 2 small ( not even 1/2 pint,) banks beers 44 barbadian dollars! Bear in mind these are brewed on the island and even nearby bars sold them alot cheaper. No wonder the bar closed at 6pm. Staff were lovely and helpful apart from the one receptionist on duty when we arrived. Quite surly and not much of a welcome, the other receptionists were lovely and helpful. The seaweed, sargassum, was evident on the beach and I do feel with all the taxes paid to hotels and Government a scheme cld be organised providing work in each locality to pick the seaweed up. I wld opt for A/I again next time simply for the entertainment, choices of food and bar to be open at night.

A friend and I stayed here for a week in June. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the beachfront. It's within walking distance to a local supermarket, St Lawrence Gap and Rockley beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around, from high end eateries (Champers which was incredible) to cheaper bites in the Tikki Bar. We stayed in a Deluxe studio which is more than adequate for 2 people, we had all the facilities we required and was cleaned daily. The hotel felt quiet during our visit, plenty of sunbeds around the pool and beach. We recommend the local routed taxis (reggae bus), they were plentiful, cheap and a convenient way to get around (be warned, some of them do drive a little erratically). During our stay we went to Oistins on Friday night, this was great fun, freshly cooked fish, delicious rum punch and a generally fun vibe! We also did a Catamaran trip, although a little pricey it was a fun trip. We would absolutely recommend the Coral Mist to anyone looking to visit Barbados.

Once again we stayed at Coral Mist. We love it there! The view of the beach/sea from every room is fabulous. It was quite quiet this year as was the whole island, not sure why but I think people still don’t feel comfortable to travel. We started by having to wear masks inside and outside but half way through, the rules changed and we only needed the inside. The rooms are slowly being refurbished with new flooring. We were very lucky to see turtles laying on our beach and even luckier to see baby turtles just hatched.
