Lack of basic cleanliness, makes the given apartment dangerous for transmission of infectious diseases

Misinformation and lack of cleanliness and basic hygiene rules, which make it unsuitable and unsafe for accommodation services.
In fact, I denounce the fact that I was deceived with either false or simply bad services. Prior to booking the studio, I sent several messages to which I did not receive any reply. Additionally, there was no reply even to Airbnb representatives when notified upon the day of our check in, when I had to wait for four long hours outside the apartment building with my 84-year-old mother, due to what I assume was a wrong e-code. In more detail, after costly long international calls that exceeded 90 minutes with Swiss Star apartment representatives, whilst still outside the apartment, I was finally given another code that allowed me access to the studio keys. Out of these two keys, one did not function, while the second opened both doors, namely the apartment building and the apartment itself, causing us to feel extremely unsafe and exposed, as anyone with access to the building, had also access to tenant apartments, including our own.
What is more, the online photos of the apartment I had booked and the services that featured it had nothing to do with the disappointing reality we encountered upon entering the apartment. Moreover, I had great difficulty getting Wi-Fi access, as the sign behind the door that according to Swiss Star Apartment representative supposedly provided instructions, was not at all helpful, given the fact that I was given a wrong code to begin with. It was only after about three hours that I noticed there was a second sign in the room close to the bathroom with the correct Wi-Fi access code. In other words, while the correct code is given, tenants are painstakingly confused by the presence of two signs in the apartment with different information regarding Wi-Fi access.
Still, the lack of basic cleanliness, makes the given apartment dangerous for transmission of infectious diseases. The knobs, the bedside table and the inside sills of the three windows opposite the bed had stains that were sticky to the touch and had to personally clean with disinfectant tissues. Indeed, these three windows had dirt and stains all over. Also, behind the washing machine in the bathroom, there was garbage, namely two large plastic pieces and other smaller waste and the baking tray in the oven had still oil in it. I took photos of all these as proof in case it is needed. Yet, what I could not take picture of was the strong smell of smoke in the room, as a non-smokers’ one.
As a result, I do feel that the Swiss Star apartment administration/owner is not only absent but also makes money at the expense of its clients’ health and convenience.
Finally the swiss star appartment gave to us:
• psychological distress of being kept outside the building for 4 hours during darkness in a foreign country
• extraordinary aggravation and loss of my precious time, trying to get internet access with wrong password
• constant stress and insecurity, that at any time anyone with a building entrance key can also access my room
• false data I was given, namely false/wrong keys’ password, misleading Internet password, false non-smokers policy, lack of hair dryer and second bedside table etc.
• and mainly for the risk to us from potential transmission of any infectious diseases due to the poor cleanliness of the place.

This is the 4th Serviced Apartment that I have stayed at during my 6-month contract in Zurich, and easily the best, On arrival, the room, bedding and towels were pristine. The room is kept that way with weekly housekeeping, when the bedding and towels get changed. For someone working in Zurich, the facilities here are excellent. The en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and fridge I have had in other places, but this is the only one with its own washer/dryer and ironing facilities (not shared like at some apartments, or non-existent like at others). The location is very central, with great public transport close by to get anywhere in the city. I was fortunate to have a front-facing apartment, with a wonderful outlook onto the beautifully kept gardens of the cemetery (the neighbours are particularly quiet), and beyond that, the Uetliberg.
All-in-all, a super stay.
Good Appartment but no conceirge service this is a big minus

We stayed in this place for 4 days but as this place didnt had any conceirge service we struggled with our luggage during check in and check out. On a weekend even there was no one to help you .
I would stay think before you choose this place . Location was good .
Comfortable stay but No service and No front desk

The rooms are comfortable but beware that there is no reception/front desk and no daily room cleaning either. We reached an hour before the asked check-in time and since there is no front desk, we had to just wait outside until the keys were put in the pick-up box outside the house. Normally, when we reach a hotel early, we just leave the luggage at the front desk and roam around but that was not an option here. The room cleaning does not happen daily either so if you end up getting the room dirty forget getting it cleaned. We had a great time in Switzerland but so much of a good time here.

I stayed for 3 nights and would never come back.
The lavatory wash-basin drain was stucked so the water could flow away and it was also leaking on the floor. The furniture was old and dirty, the room had bad odour, there were unwashed dishes in the washing machine, and very little of toilet paper which run out after first usage of the toilet.. Nobody came through all three days to supply it or clean the room. When I complained at a given support email I got answer with question why I didn't report it right first day and further no message. Avoid far away if possible. They don't care about their customers.
