The town is famous for its colourful murals, depicting scenes of everyday life and figures and elements of the rural traditions of the town. The tradition of painting San Sperate’s walls started in 1968 thanks to Pinuccio Sciola, a world-wide known artist and is repeated every year during the festival “Cuncambias”.
Description
Pinuccio Sciola, a very versatile artist from the town, was also a famous sculpture and indeed in San Sperate, you will have the chance to visit his Sound Garden, a place where you can hear music made with his "pietre sonore" (sounding stones). Don’t miss the chance to live this unique experience with us!
