Very clean!! Good service and friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back. Location e Excellent location, and good thing to do. Abilene Zoo is awesome and my daughters love the animals. We had a good time!!!!!

My husband, my dog and I stayed overnight here on our long road trip from Tennessee to Arizona to visit family. The room was spotless, the bed, couch and chair were comfy. The breakfast included eggs, bacon, cottage potatoes, waffles, and biscuits & gravy. The front desk staff were polite and efficient. My only complaint would have to be the complete lack of an ice machine and/or soda vending on the second floor. Also, the toilet was a bit too low to the ground. Other than that, great stay!

Poorly managed and maintained

We have stayed at many LaQuintas over the years and usually have a pleasant experience. This location was an exception to that good experience. Our guestroom heater would not work properly and would blow cold air after heating for a short while, so we had to turn it off. We reported it to the front desk clerk who suggested a tweak for us to do, but it did not work. The bathroom had trash (used wash cloths, cardboard center of a tissue roll, uded Q-tip, hair holder, etc) on the floor under the sink shelves. The overflow drain on the bathroom tub was rusted and corroded. There is a huge grackle problem in the front parking lot. These birds profusely roost in the tree and make a mess under the tree areas (including any vehicles that are parked underneath). The smell also is not pleasant. When we checked out, I asked to speak to a manager to report some of the problems that we experienced and was told that there was no manager on duty and that he would be gone all day. This is totally unacceptable. No wonder that are so many problem at this location.

It is always a pleasure to stay at La Quinta in Abilene was no different it was very relaxing and peaceful the service and the clean on the hotel was excellent and I will always recommend it with friends and family

Horrible, run down place, not worth the $

Run down place. Gross pool, dog poop everywhere in grass, rooms are dirty, lights are not working in stairwell. Shower in room had lots of rust and tape on shower head. Missing safety signs. Not worth anywhere near $100/night. This is not what LaQuinta should look like or be like.
