UNSAFE LOCATION & DISGUSTING HOTEL

First of all, it was confusing when we drove in to see a Rodeway sign, along with a Suburban Suites sign. I certainly did NOT want to stay at a Rodeway! Then I was appalled to see security, which I was told was 24/7 "for our safety". As we could see from driving around the hotel, there were a number of "sketchy" inhabitants, which was obviously the reason for the security. The exterior of this establishment was bad enough, but the room was absolutely disgusting. One expects to find certain amenities in a "suite room", but there was none of that. (The online pictures for this hotel are EXTREMELY deceiving.) The only piece of furniture was a table, and the microwave was sitting on it. No dishes, cutlery, or pots and pans. The carpeting was filthy, tile floor and curtains were dirty, and towels were old and frayed. Upon leaving in the morning, there was a used condom next to our truck, which wasn't there the night before. I really don't understand how this facility can receive more stars than many of the hotels in Albuquerque - maybe they are are all bad. DON'T STAY HERE!

We stayed at suburban extended stay last night on central in Albuquerque and it was not good. No coffee with the coffee pot they madec king room into suppossed to be 2 queen beds but they were double beds and my husband hit his head 3xs on the clothes rack. There was homeless people sleeping in the parking lot. The beds had such old comforters on them there were burn marks everywhere in a supossed to be non smoking room that smelled badly of cigarette smoke we do not recommend this hotel

Everyone here is so awesome, they made me feel so welcome! I might come back just to see everyone again. My visit to NM started off Rocky at the other hotel. But this place made me change my mind about ABQ

Fast and efficient service, friendly and understandable staff. Everything you need in a hotel and more. The staff is fast to respond and everyone was so on it. Whatever you guys are doing keep it up! Thank you!

employee checking me in wanted me to take smaller room than I reserved, had to come back to check in a couple hours after the 3 pm check-in time and room still wasn't ready. It was so noisy with another guest walking around in the upstairs room all night I couldn't sleep, and I could clearly hear people talking as they walked outside the room. This motel could not have been built more cheaply. Had a bath tub but I couldn't take a bath because no stopper - could only take a shower. Overly bright and noisy fan switch for bathroom. No breakfast.
