Big disappointment
My family of 4 stayed here one night for a family getaway and we were greatly disappointed. There were 4 paper thin towels to use at the pool. And no explanation on where we could fresh. The entire hall and in our room smelled as though someone was chain smoking in their room. I have stayed in the Dells for the same price and much better accommodations!!!
Review of stay
Staff was friendly, indoor water park was great for our 3 year old, restaurant had great food. Just left tonight, a night early, due to finding mouse feces underneath sink and on bedding. We stayed in room 24 lol 8, checked out without giving staff a reason, as we didn’t want to deal with being offered another room. We felt more comfortable leaving and not risking getting another room with the same problem. Just putting review out so others are aware.

We had an awesome time! Nice hotel. Many updates. Trolly store has breakfast options. Clean. Great location. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay and definitely recommend. I was nervous when I read other reviews anout it being dated but they are me crazy. Nice hotel. A lil pricey but worth it. We stayed in a standard room 2 queens. 106. Great room and location.
Lack of Service lowers Value of Stay
Tell you about my stay? Having a non-essential job, I had some free time open before I'm to be called back to work. I traveled across country with my family by car (in June, when most things were opening up). So I've had a lot of experience with recent motel stays. Let downs: One person manning the front desk, had to have a line of customers to be waited on. The same employee that waited on front desk, also had to be the attendant at the gift shop, run across the lobby to wait on the line of those customers, which means that the line of people at the front desk got longer again, waiting for her to get back. Housekeeping running vacuums right outside my room at 8:00 in the morning... I hadn't planned on waking that early. At 10:00, housekeeping came to room, loud knocking, and gave me attitude "If there's anything you need, I'm here now. Or else I ain't coming back til tomorrow." Depressing room painted in various shades of gray, no excitement there. Had to buy own toilet paper because the toilet paper in room fell apart as you took it off of the roll. Wifi failed constantly after a min of connecting. The trolley isn't running today, so sorry, drive yourself or walk. Only place I stayed that didn't offer anything free for breakfast for it's guests. But you could buy breakfast at the gift shop, if you wait in line that is. Exceeds: the restaurant was excellent, Ericksonkids was right. If I'm staying at a lower end motel, I expect a lower level of service. But I paid more for my room here than any other stay on my trip. Paying more, I have higher expectations. I understand resorts are a business too, but if you are going to cut back on staff and quality, and not offer any benefits for your guests, you should at least lower the cost of the rooms to a more appropriate level too. If I ever come back to area, I'm staying at a different motel, where I get what I pay for.

the stay was the best i know that when you come back from the pool there floor tiles but you can put some towels and you wont slip i got to say it was the best Ericksonkids you are wrong when you come every summer it gets so much better i love it it is so fun they barley have anything to do with you it is so amazing they are paying even less this time i got to say it is really fun.
