Cleanest hostel ever
Avaliou em 19 de março de 2023
The cleanest hostel I’ve been to here in Guatemala and it’s so easily accessible to all the main areas and attractions! The dorms offer privacy which is great and the washrooms are clean as well with shower gel provided

Fantastic Hostel
Avaliou em 11 de março de 2023
I stayed here for two nights when I arrived in Guatemala. The hostel dorms held 18 people, but still were very quiet and comfortable. I never felt there were sufficient bathroom/shower space. The beds were in an alcove, giving a degree of privacy, and conveniently contained plugs, a small shelf and a reading light. The mattress was quite comfortable and I slept very well. The hostel is located a short walk from the town centre and all the popular sites. Breakfast was included in the lovely courtyard and in the rooftop terrace, with magnificent views of Agua Volcano. I mustn’t forget the staff, that were very friendly and helpful. I will happily return here on my next visit.

Nice hostel with free breakfast in Antigua
Avaliou em 8 de março de 2023
Adra hostel in Antigua is really nice. It is just a short walk away from the city center but when sitting on the rooftop Terrasse you have a nice view of the volcano and feels like a little oasis. The dorm rooms are quite big with a lot of beds in three stories but the beds were comfortable and through the design still felt private if you put a towel up. If you don’t want to go all the way up, I would recommend asking for a bed on the bottom when booking. Depending on the bed you stay in you might have to put you luggage around the corner but they do offer lockers. The showers were really good with good pressure. I’ve had a lot worse in a hostel and you always see them cleaning. You can get a hair drier and even a hair straightener at reception. The place includes a free breakfast. It differs a bit from day to day but in case on that day they have everything you get scrambled eggs, bread, bean paste, pancakes, salsa, bananas and fruit with yoghurt and a coffee or juice. It’s not a lot but very nice and a good start into the day. The Terrasse is quite spacey and nice and while we were here they were renovating it partly so I think it’ll be even nicer. They also offer your booking and a laundry service. I can definitely recommend staying here.

Adra Hostel Cancellation
Avaliou em 9 de janeiro de 2023
We booked Adra Hostel for 4 nights over New Year on Booking.com 9 months before our visit. One month before our visit they cancelled our reservation so that they could remodel the hostel and increase the number of beds, presumably to make more money. This left us in a difficult position, trying to find another place to stay for our family at short notice in Antigua. The options remaining were poor quality and massively overpriced. This is the first time this has ever happened to us and the hostel did not really give a damn. Could they not have remodelled the hotel after new year! Very disappointing, I had no response from the hostel to my last email.
