It’s fine. But less than ideal.

It’s a 3 star hotel but it’s more like 2.5. The best part is the staff who are kind and to be fair it’s very clean. The availability of coffee and water all day is great too. Having said that it’s next door to a restaurant that plays music all day and late into the night especially on weekends. It’s impossible to sleep. The toilet doesn’t flush. The carpets in the rooms are very tired. The bar fridge doesn’t work. There is nowhere to hang anything up. The location would be good but for the music.

Well, It's clean, good staff, good location, rooms are nice and spacious. Yet my issue was the extremely thin walls. To the point in my 20 years of traveling all over the world I've never seen that before. In the washroom, you can hear people behind the wall in another room applying lotion to their skin or brushing their teeth. I am not even talking about other things we all do there... It is so bad, when you close your eyes, it's like they are there in the same bathroom. It's slightly better in in the room, but not by much. You can CLEARLY hear people talking and I can hear and understand their words(not just muffled sounds, but every word). I find it quite unacceptable. There's should be at least some level of privacy given to each of us. I stayed in the room upstairs, I don't know if 1st floor rooms are any better. Owners should fix this and it's not that hard. I do not believe a single guest would want ANY of their toilet experiences to be heard by others.

Nice room, great location, excellent staff. The amenities like coffee and drinking water are pleasant. For the price, this is such a good value. The view of Volcano Agua from my room was impressive. I might come back here someday.

This is a lo ley small hotel with a wonderfully friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable with a view of nearby volcano. Enjoying sitting on the veranda among the beautiful flowering plants and colorful decor. The breakfast which is optional is excellent.

Great hotel within walking distance of everything

Good hotel. Stayed here with 21 person group of friends. There is no air conditioning so be prepared for that. Shower isn’t great but I still enjoyed the hotel. No matter what you do, make sure you go on the roof.
