We were a party of four adults and had dinner here on one rainy night. We ordered plain rice, steamed fish, squid with salted egg, stir fried mixed vegetables and a bowl of boat noodles. The squid dish came out and our first thought was perhaps they got the wrong order. The portion was pathetic to say the least and not only were the squid pieces small, they were hiding under heaps of onions made to look like them. If I were to gather all the squid pieces, I'd probably get a tablespoonful worth. And the price was about THB150 if I'm not mistaken. My sister told the wait staff she couldn't see the salted egg and he assured us it's there. Probably about a quarter of a salted egg in there if you asked me. Quite a joke really. The stir fried vegetables looked odd as they have not mixed them up on the plate so you see neat rows of carrots, baby corns, green vegetables cut a tad too long for our taste and as usual our reaction was "huh?" So I guess it's up to us to do the mixing. Wonder what the Chef was doing back in the kitchen. I didn't try the steamed fish but my dining companions said it was fresh. The boat noodles were the star and were very tasty. I ordered hot latte and they ran out. Mango juice was fresh. I had a good dining experience here on my last visit but after this recent meh experience and the fairly expensive meal, I'd say look elsewhere. There are loads of halal restaurants the stretch of Ao Nang, good food doesn't have to come at a high price tag.

The restaurant below the hotel has the most amazing food I have had in all of my vacation in Thailand. Everytime we came, we had something different and it was spectacular. In particular, I enjoyed the chicken satay with peanut sauce. I came back here repeated times. English is limited. And they put the fish in the mango salad.

We had the mixed veggies, chicken green curry and omelet at Hasna Palace. Delicious as per the reviews we've read. Wifi provided and good wifi connection. Friendly staffs. Good service. A bit pricey though but good place and good food!
