Great location

Avaliou em 18 de setembro de 2022

Hotel clean, has safes in rooms, well located next to historic district, though in an area that felt a little sketchy for the women. Parking was problematic, but public parking was just 2 blocks away. AC worked well. Probably wouldn’t stay here again if I had a choice.

Nice

We slept in arles just one night. The hotel is nice and well located. It's possible to park on the street but it's not so easy to find places. Reception close at night, around 10pm. Rooms are modern and cleaned

Good location and value

Good spot for Féria - walkable to all restaurants. Clara at desk helpful with luggage, taxis, etc. solid value. Small rooms great showers. Street noise was moderate due to Féria but earplugs helped. Overall would definitely recommend for budget minded jumping off point for Arles.

Good location with parking garage

Good location close to the sites of Arles. Large comfortable room that was individual with full bath and separate toilet. Good quality complementary toiletries. Wifi worked well in the room. Large comfortable bed and lots of white horse pictures throughout the hotel. Parking cost 11.50 euro in the hotels garage which you have to book as space is limited. Metered parking all around the hotel. Our room was at the back of the property and was very quiet. Good value. The receptionist was very helpful when my partner lost his glasses. My only complaint was the room was dusty in places.

A lot going for it; bathrooms could do with updating

This is a simple, budget-to-mid-range hotel. It's in the city centre but on the edge of the historic area and therefore accessible by car without having to get rising bollards lowered. The free, town centre shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes during the day from a stop about 100 metres level walk along the road. The building dates, at a guess, from the 60s, so it's charm-free but practical. It has a slightly rickety lift and also central air conditioning which, however, we didn't need to switch on in our room as the climate was mild during our visit. As noted by others, it also has a small parking garage for a €10 per night charge which you have to reserve in advance. Taller vehicles aren't a problem but length could be. The free wifi worked fine for us. The staff were welcoming, courteous and helpful. We had a "superior" room with king-size (160cm wide) bed. It was clean and, while judgments on bedding are subjective, we slept very comfortably. The room was simply furnished. There was no in-room tea/coffee making facility but it was possible to use the machine in the breakfast room at any time to get a hot drink. The floors are hard and we did hear some movement in the room above - not a big issue if the occupants are considerate. The window had an electrically operated roller shutter which helped keep out the morning light. Our room had a bathroom and toilet completely separate from each other. The oddest feature was that the doors were glass. This wasn't see-through, but frosted. However, anyone using the facilities could be seen in silhouette and, since the light was quite bright, anyone with a weak bladder using the toilet at night risked waking the partner sleeping in the bedroom. Conventional wooden doors would be a huge improvement. The taps and pipework look as though they are quite modern and there's plenty of hot water with good pressure, but the decor and sanitary ware is tired and stained. There's a plastic shower cloth over the bath. This, to us, seemed the main area for improvement to come up to the level of chains like Campanile or Ibis. Overall, however, this is certainly a hotel worth considering for a short stay.
