Beautiful hotel but the service leaves you wanting

Sagamore is located right on the harbor and some rooms (including the one i stayed in) have a beautiful harbor view from a private patio. The location is excellent as there are lots of eateries, coffee shops and small boutiques within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised by a lovely farmers market on Saturday morning. The rooms are pretty small and very dimly lit. Even the bathroom lights weren't bright. However, there was plenty of natural light in the daytime and power blackout shades if you want to sleep in. The outdoor space with the chonky horse is lovely, especially at night when it is lit up with string lights and warm fires. The lounge is lovely and casual and nice place for a lowkey dinner with delicious food. Speaking of food, it is pricey. $17 for old bay fries is excessive, though the fries were tasty. The waitstaff were great and attentive and surprised with a little birthday treat. I choked when the tab for 2 espresso martinis was $40 before tips. The front desk staff and some of the valet staff (specifically the night crew who repeatedly asked us "are you guests of the hotel?" with crossed arms) leave a lot to be desired. This trip was planned as a surprise birthday celebration, which i mentioned while booking and again when we checked in. I was initially told that there would be celebratory champagne then that changed to "some cupcakes" but in the end...nothing. No acknowledgement of the birthday guest. Nothing. Overall, the trip was great, but Sagamore Pendry had very little to do with it.

Great Service and Ambiance

From the time I got to the Pendry to the time I left, it was just great service. The staff is fantastic, the food is great, and such a beautiful setting. Juan, Kendra, Damar, Maxwell and the rest of the team will make you feel at home. It’s a place you will definitely look forward to going back to.

The service is friendly and inviting from the front door to the General Manager and everyone in between. Robert greeted us at valet and managed all of our luggage to both office and rooms. James and Leah in catering were present and professional, worked very hard to accommodate every request and change. The AV staff on site, Keaton and Ian were excellent, knowledgeable and service oriented. I can't say enough good things about the service. Then there is the beautiful building itself with historical charm and modern, bold decor. It is both elegant and comfortable in a refined, polished way.

The place to stay in B’more

The Sagamore in Fells Point is a great place to stay in Baltimore. We stayed in a king room overlooking the harbor. The room is very nice with a balcony overlooking the infinity pool and the harbor. It’s roomy with a beautiful bathroom - nice tiling and cool antique brass fixtures. The room also had some classy leather furniture too. The location is awesome and you can walk to numerous restaurants and bars, including Little Italy (which is pretty little). The best part of the Sagamore is the 5 star staff. Super helpful and friendly from the valets to the concierges. Very professional - Rob especially was so nice and helpful! I’ve stayed in many hotels and the staff here rates near the top. This was our first time at the Sagamore and we want to go back again.

A very Pendry Christmas!

Spending Christmas without the typical traditions of tree decorating and whatnot were not completely missed - the Pendry managed to make up for it. My family and I stayed for the holiday and the bellhops dedicatedly bussed all our luggage and to-be-wrapped presents to our rooms . For breakfast, we were offered a ride in one of the property’s vehicles to the restaurant and back - (we didn’t want to lose our parking spots directly across the street). But for the mornings we dined in, the service was quick and the food came nice and hot. I recommend the avocado toast and I also recommend for dinner the Linguini Fini (don’t quote me on the spelling). I always get the best sleep here. The bed was extremely comfortable and hard to get of most mornings because it was just too soft. The bathroom was nice and spacious and I enjoyed having the option of both a shower and a soaking tub. The staff was super nice, charismatic and helpful even with any of our silly questions and requests. Pendry Baltimore will make it happen to make your stay the best. Can’t wait to come back when the pool opens!!
