Some good aspects, other things not so great
What I liked: Very clean, spacious room, quiet location that's very handy to the Suttihisan Metro station (take Exit 2 and turn right onto the street and follow Google Maps from there - it's only two or three minutes' walk). There was a lift to the upper floors. Good value price. What I didn't like: Switched off, very unfriendly staff. They don't speak English but that wasn't my issue because after all, it's Thailand so why should they! My issue was more their complete lack of friendliness. But that wasn't what stopped me from staying there again when I returned to Bangkok a couple of weeks later - it was the pillows. They're enormous and far too high. I got such a sore neck that the second night I used a folded up towel for a pillow instead. Also uncomfortable! The staff were so unfriendly and switched off that I just couldn't face trying to communicate that I needed a more comfortable pillow. It was easier to find somewhere else to stay (fortunately with comfortable pillows) next time I was in town.

For the price and the size of room i think one should not complain. Even the beds are still solid Its quiet at night and theres no bar of any sort nearby and its a strictly non smoking hotel. 7 eleven is just 5mins walk away and street food stalls are just beside it Although bear in mind in my recent visit , they do not serve breakfast anymore. The MRT station is close enough to get u places but location of the hotel is not exactly center of everything. Its rather quiet. But if you need something theres a family mart just 1min away. I must say based on previous comments the current receptionist have improved, understood english and was very helpful.
Decent sized but never again
The rates were fair as this is not like it's neighbour hotel, The Emerald. However, to get to the elevators, one must first lug one's bag up a flight of stairs. Similarly, the elevator stops between on each level meaning you can choose to walk up or walk down to your room deoending which floor you decide to take the elevator up to. And no, there are no hotel employees to help you carry your bags even if you are a lady with a heavy bag and no male companion. The ground floor which houses the reception, the only dining area as well as the corridor to the nightclub next door has a lingering scent of smoke and alcohol from beyond the corridor and in all honesty, the only great thing about this hotel is it's proximity to a well-stocked 7-11 and local streetfood within walking distance.
Nice Hotel But Poor Attitude of Receptionist
The location of hotel is good, just a walking distance to sutthisan mrt station and is very quiet. Not to mention the rusty kettle and the choked pipe in bathroom, the overall facilities is fine. The only thing make me dissatisfied is the attitude of a female receptionist. She could speak English better then the rest but her attitude is worse. She even wanted to shout us before she realized that was her misunderstanding. We wrongly ordered the rooms to two instead of one with an online hotel order website so we were asking her to change. She said no chance to change because we did booked from them but through the website. Therefore we used our own cell phone to make a call to the booking company and asked for help. When the coordinator called to the hotel, we could see the receptionist talking with her as we still stood at the front desk. Every after she hang up phone, her expression didn't look nice. After almost 10 minutes, the coordinator said the receptionist did not allow. So we end up with staying 2 rooms with paying a deposit $800 for each room which is not stated when we make the booking. I feel extremely disappointed to the attitude of the receptionist as she did not show professional service to us. I felt grateful that they still allow us to put our luggage in their luggage deposit after checked out.
Excellent for Budget Hotel
Stay for 4 night at this hotel, the location was good only 2 min from MRT Suttisan, the room was clean and big. you can found the minimarket only 50 metres from this hotel and if you book this hotel without breakfast, don't worry because just in front of hotel you can found restaurant for breakfast and lunch ( not a big restaurant but it worth it for lunch and B'fast ). The staff was helpful but the english is limited. Wifi on the room is ok ( if you used only for WA ) I have no complain for this hotel.
